"Big Sister! Big Sister!"
"What?" I groaned lazily at my youngest sister Kana.
"Tomorrow Jackson and I are going to the movies together!!" She exclaimed excitedly.
"Oh really? Do I need to have a little chat with him?" I asked menacingly
"Leave your sister alone, Kora." Mother scolded me.
"Yes, Mam," I said submissively tying up my long lavender hair into a high ponytail. "Well, I'm off to school. Where did you put my bag Kokona?"
"In your room on your bed," she told the eldest Scarlett child like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
I just ignored the comment and got her bag in my room. I checked the mirror one last time only to see my bright green eyes staring back at me. I hate them. They reminded me too much of my 'Father'.
"Goodbye, everyone."
"Good luck at your new school sweetie." Mother called out.
"BYE-BYE" Kana shouted.
Even though I have been in Paris ever since I was Four. I was just now going back to school after a family issue at the beginning of the school year, it was now the middle of the year.
I was almost to College Francoise Dupont when an older man was crossing the road when a car came by ready to hit him if I didn't interfere. I didn't know what came over me. I don't think I ever will know. But I pushed him out of the way, we both ended up on the sidewalk.
"Thank you, young lady." The man thanked me.
"It's no problem, are you alright?" I asked with genuine concern laced in my voice.
"Yes, thanks to you." The man kindly replied chuckling.
"That's good. I have to go before I'm late. Have a nice day goodbye" I smiled softly at him running away.
I looked up at the clock as I walked into the school. Crap it almost time for class. I started up the stairs to my class
*Time Skip*
Lunch the best place to read alone.
"Adrikins!" Gag. That blonde and her stupid boyfriend can take it outside no one wants to see them flirt. I tuned out the rest of their conversation and headed to the office to get my schedule.
"Hello, how may I help you?" An older man with a gray beard with to black stripes in it asked.
"Oh um, I'm the new student and I need to pick up my schedule."
"Of course right away. My name is Mr.Damocles and yours is?" He inquired
"Kora, Kora Scarlett."
"Very well Kora here is your schedule," He handed a piece of paper to me. "Now off to class."
"Thanks,"
"Any day. Now go." He pushed me out as the bell for class rang.
Crap I don't even know where my class is. I started walking around aimlessly till I found my homeroom and walked in.
"Hello", the teacher greeted me "you must be the new student"
"Y-yes mam'" I answered quietly. Damn shyness.
