"GUYS HES COMING!!!!!" Jin screamed and everyone started to get excited.

"Okay okay! Calm down, let's all hide!" said namjoon, trying to calm the screaming child like adults.

While everyone else was excited, Jungkook felt both hurt and frustrated.

All his friends had forgotten about his birthday, none of them cared about him. Well, at least, that's what he thought.

There was a knock at the door and Jin immediately ran and stood behind the door.

"As soon as I open the door guys, we yell surprise!" he whispered.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!"

A ton of party poppers went off, letting the confetti fall onto the younger boy.

He couldn't help but let his adorable bunny smile escape his lips.

They didn't forget.

"Wh-what is all this" he said while chuckling as he saw all of his friends who had clearly been planning this surprise party for a while now.

"Happy birthday Kookie, we didn't actually forget about your birthday you idiot" Jimin says while chuckling.

"Surprise!" Tae yells out and jumps infront of the younger. He took off his jacket to reveal a large ribbon which was wrapped around his stomach. "I'm your present ;)" he said with a smirk.

"Awhh you shouldn't have" the younger said sarcastically.

"Okay okay, let's all head inside and get the fun started" Namjoon ordered.

They all went in the living room and laughters filled the room.

Pizza boxes with a few slices of pizza left in them were thrown around the room.

A shitty movie was playing in the background, and empty beer cans were scattered all over the floor.

All the boys were having fun, and they all seemed distracted. So, Taehyung took advantage of this and took Jungkook into the kitchen. 

Jungkook sat on one of the chairs whereas Taehyung stood up near the chair.

Jungkook still seemed to be pretty upset over the fact that Taehyung lied to him.

"Kookie, why are you mad at me?" He said softly.

"Why didn't you just tell me you didn't wanna spend time with me?" he said while looking up into Tae's eyes with a hint of sadness in his voice.

"What are you talking about?" the elder said confused.

"When I asked to hang out. You said you couldn't because you had to babysit but I saw you with Jimin at the mall. Why couldn't you just tell me the truth"

Taehyung chuckled when he heard Jungkook.

"Oh, so you find it funny?"

Taehyung went over to Jungkook and croutched down, so that Jungkook was looking down at him. He looked down and smiled before looking up into the younger's glissening eyes and placed his hand onto his knee.

"No silly, I'm laughing because it's not that I didn't wanna spend time with you, but it's because I was at the mall with Jimin buying your present you dummy"

Jungkook looked down in slight embarrassment and blushed slightly.

He felt so silly because he jumped to so many conclusions, thinking that Taehyung disliked him, but in reality, he was buying his present.

"Oh.." the younger muttered out.

"I feel so stupid, I thought you disliked me..."

"I don't dislike you Kookie. Don't be silly" he said with a smile as he sat down on the chair next to Jungkook and placed his hand into his.

He held his hand while looking into Jungkook's eyes. "Kookie" he said softly.

"Yeah..?" he responded quietly.

"Wait here" he said.

Taehyung left the kitchen and came back, but this time, with a small box in his hands.

He sat back onto the seat next to Jungkook and handed him the box while smiling.

"What is this?" he said confused.

"Your present dummy, go ahead, open it" the elder responded with a smile.

"Okay..."

"Taehyung.. you shouldn't have" the younger said as he opened up the box.

Inside was a camera. (yikes I forgot to include the fact that Jungkook really likes photography, so I might add that into the previous chapters)

Jungkook immediately wrapped his arms around the elder's neck tightly and rested his head on his shoulder who responded by wrapping his arms around the younger boy's waist.

"I guess you like it then huh?" he said with a chuckle.

"I love it, thank you taehyung" he said with a smile.

Taehyung couldn't help but smile. He loved the warmth of having him in his arms, holding him closely, listening to his heartbeat as he held him.

Jungkook felt the same. He felt so protected in Taehyung's arms, so comforted; a new type of comfort that he never really got. Sure, his mother and sister were caring and comforting towards him but he himself didn't feel cared for that much. He felt as if his mother only treated him nicely out of pity, since his father left him at a young age. But the way he felt now, with Taehyung wrapping his arms around him gently made him feel so important and loved; a feeling that he had been craving for so long.

"okay enough of your lovey dovey shit, it's time for cake!" Yoongi said as he stood by the door.

Jungkook removed his arms from the elder, with a tint of red on his cheeks.

Him and Taehyung smiled at eachother before going into the living room for some cake.
