Chapter 39 - Music

Lilia's POV

I woke up in Jeff's bed; I got up and went to grab my phone from Toby's room. I walked down the hall and into Toby's room. I stared at him for a moment then grabbed my phone. I plugged in my headphones, put one in and turned to the door, blaring my music.

"So begins another nightmarish day in the life of me huh?" I began to walk out.

"How is it a nightmare?" I turned and saw Toby, wide awake. I threw my phone, tearing out the earbud and ran to his side.

"Toby!" Tears welled up in my eyes. "I've missed you so much." Toby pulled me close to him and pet my head.

"How long?" He asked, I sighed, and kissed his head.

"A year and a day. So, Happy 14 Month Anniversary." I smiled and let go of his hand. "Get some rest, I'll be up in an hour with breakfast." He looked sad but, he let me go. I skipped down the hall, and stairs and went into the kitchen.

I was humming Deepest Cuts by: Get Scared while making breakfast.

"Looks like someone is happy." Rake said, walking in. I smiled, and hugged Rake.

"Do me a favor?" He nodded, hugging me back. "Can you do all the chores today?"

"Sure, minus cooking right?" I laughed.

"No dip, Sherlock."

"Ok. What's the occasion?" I tried to look as innocent as possible.

"Nothing. I just need a day off." He nodded and I made breakfast, for all the pastas.

~1 hour later~

I finished out breakfast for everyone and made a stack of pancakes and brought them upstairs, thankfully no one noticed. I ran to Toby's room with the pancakes and walked in the door. Toby was trying to get out of bed. "No, no, no. Back in bed mister." He did as he was told and I fed him pancakes. Once he finished, he kissed me. "Sticky!" I said, laughing. "I missed you Toby. Now if you excuse me, I have some idiots to cut open." I left, LJ and Hoodie were still chained up downstairs after a year. I think I don't have to do too much to break them. I walked down to the basement and open the door.

"THE LIGHT!" I heard Hoodie shriek.

"IT BURNS!" LJ yelled. I smiled and closed the door, walking slowly and soundlessly.

"Hello?" They both asked, I came close to their faces.

"Did you miss me?" I said, menacingly. They rattle their chains, in fear.

"Death..." They both said, I laughed and looked into LJ's eyes.

"Have you learned not to mess with me?" I grabbed his hair and yanked up. He nodded.

"Hoodie told me to do it. I didn't want to but, he took my candy away. I'M SORRY!!!!" LJ said, confessing to me.

"LJ! WAY TOO BREAK!" Hoodie yelled then cringed when I death-glared him.

"LJ. You can go." I said letting him down. He fell to the ground and scurried behind me. He shook out of fear, and held my leg. I sighed. "LJ, Go upstairs and wait for me at the top of the steps." He let go of my leg and sat on the steps. I turned back to Hoodie. "Now..." I said, lifting his head, "What to do with you?" I touched his face with my other hand. You could see the fear in his eyes. "You know, killing a girl's parents won't get her to love you Hoodie." I heard him gulp and shake his chains again. I pulled away from him and faded into the darkness.

"Death..." He called, obviously frightened out of his mind. "Death?" I didn't make a sound, I just watched him. "Angel..." I hate when anyone, but Jeff, Rake, and EJ call me Angel. I caught fire immediately and grabbed Hoodie by his throat, burning him.

"Don't call me ANGEL!" I screamed, slamming him against the basement wall. Someone heard my scream because, not long after I heard running down the steps.

"Lils. Stop." Masky said, coming over to me, he put his hand on my shoulder. I put out my flames to keep from hurting Masky. He hugged me and I let go of Hoodie.

"Brother! Why aren't you hurting her? Look what she did to me!?" Hoodie yelled at Masky, who stopped hugging me and slapped his brother.

"Hoodie you deserve it. That's why I'm not hurting Lils." He shook his head and I knocked out Hoodie. Masky started to unchain him.

"Want help carrying that?" I said, helping unhook the chains. He nodded, smiling with a look of "Yes, please." I laughed and grabbed Hoodie with one hand and threw him on my back. "LJ!" I yelled. LJ ran over to me. "Come on, Upstairs." Masky lead the way and LJ was behind me as we climbed the stairs into the house. I carried Hoodie to his and Masky's room and went to Toby's door. "LJ, you don't have to follow me anymore..."

"Sorry." He left for his room, and I walked into Toby's room and crawled into bed with him.

"Hey babe." Toby said, wrapping his arms around me as I snuggled into him. I smiled and started to fall asleep. "Night Sweetie." I heard, and felt a kiss on my forehead before I was out like a light.
