Park Jimin. He was known all over campus since he was already a part of a rookie idol group called BTS. Every girl would have their jaws drop at the fact that the Park Jimin studies the same school as them.

Lee Naomi was just an average girl in school who yes, is apparently one of those girls who have their jaws drop at Park Jimin. The girls adored him because he is an idol. But Naomi adored him way before. Before Jimin even auditioned at BigHit, she already adored him. Their school was elementary–senior high school based. And, Naomi was two years younger than him. But, she was just one grade lower.

She adored him ever since she was in the second grade, and Jimin was in the third grade. There was a programme where they should partner up but at one practise, Naomi's partner was absent, and so Jimin insisted to partner up with her for the meantime. She adored how cute he was, how gentle and polite, how he danced as if he was a pro – he even complimented her for dancing so well.

She thought it was just young love but no – it even lasted till they were both high school students. Jimin was in senior high school, the eleventh grade, and Naomi was in high school, the tenth grade.

And so, let's take this to the day where it all started—

Naomi thought it was just another day. She knew for a fact that Jimin never knew her name, but at least he knew her existence. As she was walking down the hall for her next subject, she saw Jimin looking for something in his locker. A smile unknowingly crept on her face as she watched the lad rummage through his locker, and finally pulling out a book for his next subject.

Naomi continued to walk as she stared at Jimin, not minding her path. Park Jimin! Why must you do this to me? She mentally told herself, holding onto her chest as she saw him lick his lips as he flipped through the pages of his textbook.

Unbeknownst, Naomi suddenly bumped into the wall. She hit her head, groaning at her foolish action. Some of what she was holding dropped on the floor as well, but she managed to hold some of the others.

Jimin noticed her and quickly approached her to help. She placed his hand on her shoulder and stared at her intensely, “Hey are you okay?” He asked her. Naomi was starstrucked, she never knew that she could see Jimin that up-close after years. Naomi quickly nodded grabbing the stuff that fell on the ground.

Jimin did so as well and handed her the few stuff that fell. But in reality, she would love to stay at the position they were in earlier, but her eyes found a picture of Jimin lying on the floor that she believed was hers. Naomi gulped as she saw the picture in front of him, she quickly snatched it and tried to act natural.

He didn't see it, did he? Naomi started to panic. Assuming that he didn't, Naomi darted her eyes directly onto him – which she by the way regretted afterwards.

“Are you really okay? I can accompany you to the clinic if you want.” He told her. And it was obvious that he was sincere telling her that, and not just for a public show. Naomi's eyes began to glance at multiple directions. She kept her head low as she replied to Jimin.

“M–Mmm . . . I'm alright. I need to go.” She told him, deciding to walk away but then he grabbed her by her shoulders and made her face him.

“If you're conscious about the people staring at us, don't be. Now c'mon, I'll take you to the clinic—”

“I mean it,” Naomi warmly smiled, “I can handle myself.” She bowed and scooted off.

Once Naomi was already in her classroom, she realised something – she didn't even get to say thank you. Oh wow. What a fool, Naomi. What a fool. She wanted to hit her head on a wall numerous of times. She'd normally thank anyone for any kind gesture but she guessed that she was too frustrated to even thank him. His presence alone can be enough to sweep her off of her feet.

And so, after class, she decided to write a simple letter without adressing who she was. And she hoped that he wouldn't remember her because that'd just embarrass her for sure.

A/N:
Just to set things clear, this is not a JiRosé fanfic. Naomi is just portrayed by Rosé since I love Chaeyoung~
