So wow, I guess I'm just writing letters for you now. Anyway, you were absent today, Hwamin. That's why I decided to finally talk to Naomi earlier. I know I said that I'm going to take you out for prom and I meant that, I'm no promise breaker. But you see, Naomi had this outburst.
She told me to stay away from her, and to not make things complicated. She said that she was afraid that you'd get mad at her again. She cried. And I felt a pinch from my heart when I saw her cry. And then, she said this; "Just please . . . you asked a favour from her didn't you? To set us up so you could ask me out to prom? Damn it please, stop hurting her. 'Cause it'd hurt me even more!"
That was sweet to say from your best friend but you see, why do I feel like it has a different meaning to it? What did you do, Hwamin?
