//5 years later//

«Tamantha's POV»
I chased Dean around trying to put on his PJs on him. He disappeared aroun the  corner when I heard a weird cracking noise. When I caught up with him, I saw the ground around him on fire. "Shit!" I muttered under my breath.

That was the fifth time this week that he caught something on fire. I was very close to calling his parents but I knew better.

"Oopsies. Mama!" He said pointing to the ground.

"It's okay, honey!" I said grabbing a wet towel attempting to put out the flames. "It was just an accident. Always just an accident."

He looked like he wanted to cry, so I hugged him trying to calm him down. "I'm sorry, mama" he said in-between sobs.

It's been a long five years raising Dean, knowing that his 'abilities' would come and go. Some days I was counting down until his 18th birthday other days I was sad he wasn't staying. His birth parents had kept a close watch on him as I heard a ruckus every now and then from Royal guards or decoy animals change positions to watch him. I knew his parents probably know about these abilities he has. I'm just hoping they stay away until he is fully developed and that shit storm they had with the angels settles. I, myself, am very religious person and my daughter's husband just deepened that faith.

«Scarlett's POV»

"What do you mean fire powers!?!" Sam yelled at the poor guard.

"Sam, honey, we knew this would happen. These powers would spark up and go away. We can't interfere." I said laying a hand on Sam's hand.

"Scarlett, he won't be ab-"

"My mother knows what she is doing!" I interrupted by grabbing onto his hand firmly.

"What if-"

"He destorys something? We'll handle it, but we can't just take him because of a small fire circle."

I started feeling an intense heat coming from his hand, squeezing harder I finally said "Sam, calm down."

He winced and dismissed the guard with his other hand. "I just don't understand."

"What don't you get? We can't introduce him to this place especially when we have little to no control over the eartly plane."

"Unless..."

"Unless what?"

"We could go through my father."

I looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

"What?"

"No."

"Why?"

"I'm not dragging your father off that island because of our problems."

"I don't see why not."

"This is our son. We've been hearing reports and know these powers are on and off."

"I know, but-"

"No! That's final." I said standing and dismissing everyone in the court. I walked off and after about five minutes I heard foot steps behind me. Smiling, I turned around, expecting my husband to be there but faced with a messenger with wings.

He bowed his head and began to speak. "Your highness. I believe you must hear these from a trusted Oracle."

"Go on." I stared at him. His kind were not typically welcomed here, but Oracles told of prophecies that could change the world.

"The Oracle states the boy of darkness will fall for the girl of light. Changing the universe with an unknown ending."

"Is this of my son?"

"The Oracle didn't translate ma'am."

"Tell me this, if my son is the boy of darkness. Who might be the girl of light?"

"I-"
