//5 year late//
«Dean's POV»I walked through the dreaded school halls, I'm only ten and I sound like the teenagers, in a line with with the other children, normal children. I knew I was different and many of not most of the children treated me as such.
I felt a tap on my shoulder and I looked back as they handed me a note. I already knew what it said, but I opened it anyway:
'Hey Deanmon! Why don't you get your sorry demon ass out of here or better yet why don't you just kill yourself! Nobody likes you anyway.'
I crumpled the note in my hand as my eyes filled with tears. You would think after this long I would be used to the constant torment and name calling from the other students. I will show them eventually that I'm better.
My teacher stepped to the side as we began filing into the classroom.
"Dean."
"Yes, Ms. Minnear?"
"Wait out here with me."I lowered my head as the kids passed by me, snickering.
"Ms. Minnear, can i-?"
"No. Dean, I need to speak with you. "She waited till everyone was inside then asked the aide to take over. Closing the door, she signed "hand me the note."
"What?"
She pointed at my hand then held her palm out flat. "Come on."
I reluctantly handed it over and looked away as I felt the stares of my classmates.
After my teacher finished reading the note she sighed "Do you believe you are a" she paused "demon?" I shook my head. "Then why do you allow them for you to bully you and not tell anyone?"
I shrugged my shoulders.
"Dean?" She knelt down. "Why didn't you tell me?"
Looking at her I let the tears fall "I didn't want them to bully me more for being a tattle tale and at my old schoo-."
She hugged me before walking me down the hall to the principal's office. "Am I in trouble?"
"No, unlike your old school we take care of bullies."
"What are you going to do?"
"I'm gonna be a tattle tale."
I looked up at her as she had a smile on her face looking down at me. When we got to the principal's office she sat me down and explained what was going on to her. After she explained everything Mrs. Monroe, the principal, looked at me.
"How long has the been going on, Mr. Summers?"
"3 years, ma'am."
"So the duration of you being at this school?"
I nodded.
She sighed. "Who has been bullying you?"
I stayed silent not wanting to reveal anybody's name especially the 3 kids who are the main bullies.
She nodded "I understand you want to protect yourself by protecting them."
I looked down at my swinging feet. "Marc, Tiffany, and Charlie."
My teacher hovered closer to me before squatting down "the next time they bully you we can share a secret word so I can stop them. How does that sound?"
I smiled. "Like spies?"
"Yeah" she giggled "like spies."
We sat there making up a saying to signal when the bullies are acting up. I got sent home early with any work I needed to do before tomorrow.
My mom looked at me from the kitchen sink as I sat there swinging my legs and doing my homework.
«Tabitha's POV»
I looked at him sitting there nonchalantly. The principal is only protective of him because she happens to be his legitimate son and needed something to do during the week.
"How was school?" I asked him while I dried some of the dishes in the sink.
"It was okay."
"Boy, give your mother a better answer!" My husband said as he walked in from the garage.
"Sorry, sir. It was okay because I got to spend the rest of the day with you and it was only bad because of those kids."
I waved Henry over to me. He rolled his eyes but walked over.
"You gotta be easier on him." I whispered.
"Why? We are raising him as our own?"
"Shhhhh...he isn't supposed to know."
"Tabitha, darling. I'm treating him as my own and if he can't stand his ground here how the hell is-"
I place my hand over his mouth "shhhh" and pointed at Dean. "He's listening as always."
"Mommy?" Dean said looking at me.
I looked at my hand still covering Henry's mouth and I slowly stepped away lowering my hand then going back to drying the dishes. "Dean why don't you go put your stuff up so I can start dinner."
«Scarlett's POV»
I walked back through the palace and into mine and Sam's room. Removing the principal-like attire I breathed out slowly until cold hands wrapped around my waist.
"Sam?"
"Mhmm" he hummed kissing my neck.
"Aren't you supposed to be working?"
He turned me around "yes but I wanted to see my beautiful wife."
I slipped on a dress "our son is being bullied."
"Figures, his mom is the principal and if he becomes scared he catches something on fire."
He tossed his hands in the air and began walking out "it's your fault he's like this."
I glared at his back "excuse me! My fault?! Your demon ass decided to knock me up! I was perfectly okay until you showed up and decided to swoon me."
"You shouldn't of been so easy to swoon then!"
I scoffed then stormed past him "you are the demon king! Who swooned the unwanting to be demon girl that's why I left hell in the first place!" Slamming the door shut I stormed towards the formal dining room.
