Imagine Loki and Thor competing to pay for your dinner

"Well, that was a good meal," Loki says. He turns to you and gives you a smile. "Do you share my sentiment, Y/N?"

As you nod and say yes, Thor leans back in his chair, stretching his arms over his head – his chair squeaking in protest against his large and muscular frame. "Ohh yes, THAT was a meal for Valhalla!" He grins and holds up his fist. "Makes a man strong!" Something seems to go on in his mind, and he adds, "Makes a woman strong as well!"

Loki rolls his eyes. "Yes, yes...Anyways-" and he clasps his hands together before reaching for his pocket, "How about I foot the bill?"

"Oh, nooo," Thor interjects, giving you a wink. "I can do that! A warrior must take responsibility for a lady's dinner, after all."

"Implying that I'm not a warrior?" Loki says as he places his card on the table, his expression growing annoyed. "I fought plenty battles with you."

"Well– of course!" Thor replies as he flicks Loki's card aside with his own. "It's just that I'm the elder brother." He smiles at you. "And elder brothers take good care of their ladies and younger broth–"

"You being older can be debated," Loki says as he exchanges the cards and slips Thor's card back into Thor's pocket. "Plus, this young lady came here as a part of my invitation, so I should pay for her dinner."

Just then, the waiter steps into view and picks up the card on the table. "You'll be paying with this?" he asks.

"Oh, no, that'll be me." Thor pulls the card from the waiter's fingertips and replaces it with his card. As the waiter walks away, Thor grins victoriously at you and Loki before handing to Loki the card he took from the waiter. "It's out of our hands now, younger brother."

"Oh, really?" Loki muses. He holds up the card Thor has given him. "It seems you gave the waiter my card and gave me your card..." A mischievous expression grows on his face as he gives you a glance, one of his eyebrows raised. "Looks like I'll have to pay after all."
