Kazumi POV
Once we were at the gates, Naruto ran of to eat Ichiraku's. Sasuke and Sakura followed soon. I can't go with them since I'm in a leash. Huh? I was on leash. "Looking for your leash? Well. We're already here. Do you want to come with me to the Hokage's office?" -Kakashi
"Yup!" -Me
"Okay then." Kakashi teleported us there. Fast. But not as fast as I am. He knocked on the door to hear a faint 'come in'. I opened the door. To see a very busy Gramps. "Oh. Kakashi. And Kazumi. Already finished with the mission?" -Gramps
"Yes Lord Hokage. I-" I completely zoned out on that. Hmm? What happened to Gato though? I only heard that he died. Meh. Beats me. Am I strong enough to be a Jounin? I'll try to take on the Jounin exams in the next three weeks. Yeah. I'll try that. "-zumi! Kazumi!" -Kakashi
"Yes monkey on a stick I am home for peanut butter and jelly!" Why did that come out of my mouth? "Monkey on a stick?" -Gramps
"Peanut butter and jelly?" -Kakashi
"I have no idea on why I said that." -Me
"Anyway. Let's go." -Kakashi
"Actually. Gramps. There's a Chunin Exam right?" -Me
"Yes. That will begin in the next five months. Why are you asking me this child?" -Gramps
"Well. If there's a Chunin Exam. Then Maybe. There's Jounin Exam?" -Me
"Yes. That's in three weeks. Again. Why
are you asking me this?" -Gramps
"Well. Can I register.........for the Jounin Exams?" After that question, they became silent. Probably gonna burst out of laughing any minute. "Are you sure?" Whoa. He agrees? "Yes. I mean. I won't if you don't want to-" -Me
"I will call Shikaku and sign you to the Jounin Exams. You two are dismissed."
"Thank you Lord Hokage/Gramps." We said in unison. "Yo you still want to go to that bookstore?" -Kakashi
"No. I'm gonna check on Shikamaru. I haven't been visiting him in a while." -Me
"Okay. If you want to see me, go to this address." He gave me a piece of paper, with his address in it. He poofed away. "Damn you Kakashi. A shadow clone. Should've known." I said and I teleported in front of Shikamaru's house.
I sighed and knocked on his door. "Coming!" I heard Ms. Yoshina say. I think she will open it, since Mr. Shikaku is in the Hokage's Office, or Gramps Office. And Shikamaru is too troublesome about opening the door. It opened to see Ms. Yoshina. Knew it.
I was about to speak, when she unexpectedly hugged me. Well. I haven't been in their house for a long time ya know. "Oh Kazumi! I haven't seen you in ages! Shikamaru was saying more 'troublesome' to girls. He thought you left him." -Yoshina
"I'm sorry. I was kinda busy. And I probably won't go here in the next three weeks. Ask Mr. Shikaku. He knows the answer." -Me
"Okay. Shikamaru is in his room." -Yoshina
"Thank you Ms. Yoshina." I said my thanks and went to Shikamaru's room. I should probably tell him that I can't see him for a couple of days. Once I was in front of his door. I knocked three times. I heard a groan. "Go away mom. I'm tired." -Shika
"Shikamaru Nara! I did not come here to hear that! Now get your butt out of bed and open the door!" I heard a loud thud. And his footsteps were getting louder by the second.
The door opened to see a wide eyed Shikamaru Nara. I gave him a closed eye smile. He hugged me and pinned me to the wall. Then the least thing he'd do happen.
