Deception

I'm going to suggest a rating of 14A or PG-13. It's a fan fiction based of of ABC's once upon a time. Anyways, I hope you enjoy.

Eva's POV

I stood facing the balcony edge. Jump, and I would be taken away from the nightmare I lived in. Memories of the green eyes boy came back to me. He only appeared in my dreams, but he was a friend. My only friend and I could join him if I jumped. My lungs expanded as I took in a deep breath and felt myself free-falling. I squeezed my eyes shut and braces myself for the feeling of the pavement hitting my chest. The pain never came. Wind hit my face as I was carried through the sky by Shadow. He was the green eyes boys friend. I could trust him. Minutes passed and I found myself alone on a beach.

An arrow hit my leg releasing a scream from my lips. With a groan I grasped the arrow in my hand and pulled it out. A tall boy with blond hair walked up to me and smiled.

"Welcome to Neverland. Hope you enjoy your stay."

Something hit my head and I felt pain for the slightest second before losing consciousness.

I woke in the middle if a forest, people surrounding me talking in hushes voices. Groaning, I sat up and realized I was surrounded by teenage boys. One of them noticed I was awake, and walked over to me.

"I'm Felix. Sorry about earlier, hitting you on the head earlier was a little harsh for a welcoming."

His voice was rough and powerful. I split my dry lips about to talk, but my voice came out in a squeak. The boys all laughed at my passiveness, making me angry. A deep breath and I began to talk again.

"So you're the one who hit me? Are you the leader of this group, or some henchman that does what he's told?" My voice was rude and loud. Felix's eyes burned brighter.

"I'm not the leader. Over time you'll realize that. For now, I think it's time to play a game, I think you'd have heard of it. Does hide and seek ring a bell?"

He started counting and I pushed myself up and began running when I remembered my leg. Looking down I saw no blood, only a hole in my faded jeans. A boy tackled me from behind and I was laying underneath him, face first in the dirt. His strong arms gripped me as he rolled me over.

"Hello, I'm Peter Pan. Now, let the games begin!"

He ran the blade of a dagger along my arm as I struggled to get away. I felt the sticky, warm liquid drip down onto the ground and clenched my teeth in pain. Peter got off of me and pulled me close. A cut on the inside of my forearm spilt blood. A hot breath warmed my ear as he whispered, "Run."

Instead of listening to his words I spun around and stared at his eyes. Those green eyes.

"You," I spat out. "You're the boy from my dreams. The one who befriended me."

"A clever girl. So Eva, how do you like Neverland so far? Enjoying your first game?"

I turned around, letting out a huff and stalked off, showing how unimpressed I was by him. A chuckle came from behind me and I walked back to the camp.

Peters POV

That girl had so much nerve walking off like that. She didn't know my rules yet, so I couldn't blame her, but she would understand soon. I was not one to be toyed with or angered. You played by my rules or faced the punishment. It was simple really. After a couple moments I followed Eva back to the camp thinking about what games to play.
