Steph’s POV
This tour with Childish is amazing, but I have lost two of the most amazing people in my life because of it.
Harper and Luke.
You know why Harper isn’t speaking to me, but Luke broke up with me because he thought I wasn’t going to be faithful.
Childish is like an older brother to me now, but the magazines are trying to prove otherwise.
We’re now at Coachella, and my brother Sam turns up. Yes, that would be Sam Pepper.
He brings his friends, Logan, Jake and Harrison and I almost die. Logan, the hottest one in my opinion, and Jake, Harper’s crush is standing in front of me.
I check my outfit before they come any closer. White crop top, high waisted ripped shorts, black timberlands. Decent.
“Guys, this is my sister, Steph.” Sam rolls his eyes. “She’s pretty cool for a girl.”
My phone starts to ring, and I look at it, it’s Rose, Childish’s assistant.
“Wassup?” I answer and the boys laugh. I shush them quickly.
“Steph, we need you backstage, like now.”
“Why? Oh my god his shorts didn’t rip did they? They are brand new!”
She laughs, the boys echoing her laughter. “No, no. Some interviewer wants to interview all of the stylists at Coachella. Some kind of awards thing.”
“Well, shit. Alright, I’ll be there ASAP.”
When I hang up, the boys turnaround from their whisper circle sheepishly. The guys – except Logan – run away.
“So erh.” Logan scratches the back of his neck. “Jake sorta dared me to pretend to be your boyfriend for the day.”
I bite my lip, not being able to hide my smile. He smirks and I laugh. “Jake’s a weirdo. But sure, I’m in.”
“Let me take a snapchat then, babe.” He winks, and I push at his chest, laughing. He wraps an arm around my waist and starts the snapchat video.
“Hey SnapClub, I’d like you all to meet my girlfriend of the day, Steph. Go and add her on snapchat! Peace.” He ends the video by kissing my cheek and I blush.
“Come on, I have an interview to get to!” I take a hold of his hand and pull him to Stage C, laughing the whole time.
As soon as I get on stage, the nerves set in. But they don’t last long, as soon as I see Logan’s smug face, I instantly relax.
Seeing Harper surprises me, and it shocks me even more when she pats the seat next to her.
“Listen, Steph. I am so so sorry. I shouldn’t have been so fucking rude to you and I’ve regretted my words every day since. Forgive me?”
I smile, nodding quickly. “I’m sorry I didn’t try to talk to you earlier.”
“Same.” She smirks. We both look each other up and down and say in unison;
“Nice outfit by the way.”
