Steph’s POV
I sit in Ironbark, on one of the surprisingly comfortable red chairs, just watching over Ashton.
He’s a fucking mess, and I don’t blame him. He loves Harper so much. And she was just too stupid to see that. Next minute, she storms in and comes over straight away.
“I know it looked fucking suspicious but I didn’t even kiss him back. I swear to God that he came onto me, and you opened the door. Ash, please. Why would I go and kiss Niall after being with you in the forest?”
“To be honest, Harper, I don’t fucking know. But I don’t think I’ll be able to get over it.”
Harper starts to cry, and being the brilliant friend I am, I take her into the mini room for a chat.

Amethyst’s POV
“Harry we gotta go back to the others.” I laugh, pushing the curly haired boy away. He pouts and just hugs me tighter.
“Babe, we have alllllll week to see them. Pleaaase stay for just a little bit longer?”
I roll my eyes but give in. Noone can stay mad at Harry.
He pecks my cheek and I blush. “Harrry stop!”
“What? I’m just showing my girlfriend that I love her.” He smirks, shrugging.
I kiss him and laugh. “Stop sucking up to me immediately. What is it that you have to say?”
He sighs and runs his fingers through his hair.
“Babe, we go back on tour next week. After this reunion, we leave for 7 months. The 5SOS boys do too.”
I start to cry. He’s just come back from a year of touring! Why would he go now?
“Do you think the guys have told the other girls?”
“Well, we had a pact not to tell the girls until Saturday. We didn’t want to ruin the reunion."

Harper’s POV
Steph takes me into another room, and I’m so glad she did. I don’t want to cry infront of Ashton.
I don’t even have feelings for Niall – I told him that. But he kissed me anyway.
Dick.
I’m surprised Steph isn’t as mad as I thought she would be. Steph and Ash have been best friends since grade 10. It’s how Ashton and I originally met.
“Listen, Harper. I believe you, but I don’t know if Ash will trust you.” Steph folds her arms. “Niall’s an idiot.”
I laugh. “Yeah, he really is.”
Steph sits down on the chair next to me. “I also want you to know that I’m not taking sides here. I love you both.”
“Yeah I know.” I cross my legs. “What did Ash say to you before he came outside?”
“Well, he asked me what your dream date was – and I said picnic at the beach with a bit o banging. I feel so sorry for him though Harper. He was so excited.”
That just makes me feel worse. I know that Steph is an amazing friend, but sometimes she doesn’t know when to shut up.
I hear Steph’s phone start to ring. She puts in on loudspeaker.
“Hey Amie!” Beth says. “Where the hell are you?”
“I’ve just run into the bathroom, I’m playing hide-and-seek with Harry. But I think I gotta tell you something.”
“Shoot.” Beth says, suddenly serious.
“Well, the boys – they’re not telling you something-“ Amie gets cut off by Harry. “FOUND YOU!”
The line goes dead and Steph looks at me. “They aren’t telling us something?”
“I don’t know what she’s talking about.” I shake my head.
“Should we ask the boys about it, or not?”
