"This is not something to joke about (Y/N)!" Mai screams at you, "you know damn well that he can kill you in less than a second. With absolutely no recognition or any feelings."
You had just told Mai that you were planning to sneak out and grab supplies from the nearest shop which just hapened to be on the other side of town.
"No, he has feelings he laughs at our pain and suffering." You say digging yourself a deeper hole while holding back a bit of laughter.
"So, that's my point. That right there is my point (Y/N)! Thats whats going to get you killed out there!" She pauses and looks down at the ground, "please don't leave me like you did that time when we were kids."
Mai starts to get teary-eyed so you walk up to her and hug her.
"Would it be better if you came with me? We could go togather just like when we were kids... Please Mai." You say while trying to keep a steady voice.
"As long as your by my side 24/7 during this expedition. Both of us you and I make a good team and our strength is slightly above Trunks's so while he's gone. Only you and I go out there and get supplies." Mai says.
You both let go of the hug and walk seperate ways to get supplies and a slight amount of food since you may be out there longer than you expect. Just naming the possibilities out there.
As soon as you two are done you both agree to meet up at the west liability bank and trust firm. Where you just may or may not have almost had your house taken due to your parents who are now dead not paying the bills and you suffering when you were little.

The buildings are crumpling and falling not to mention look burned to the ground and devoid of people.
"Mai!" You scream at her as a blast knocks her off of her feet, "Mai? Mai?! Mai!!!" You yell as you run over to her.
Mai didn't answer you so you roll her over and see that her arms are badly burned and she has a cut across her cheek. 'Not like when we were kids you got a cut on your cheek when we were playing hide and seek by my great grandfathers house. Then you tripped and fell while rolling down the small hill in his yard.'
You snap back out of your thoughts realizing that you were out in the open carying Mai to the nearest resistance. Just then you heard laughter, the laughter of the man whom you all resented maybe you even a little bit liked.
"Well, well, well, out in the open mortal, you might get hurt." He says from behind you.
You slowly turn around and look up only to see yes, the one, the only, Goku Balck. His eyes meet yours and you lock them for what seemed like hours. Your still a little scared of what he might do if he cought you.
"You know, why are you doing this?" You say trying to keep your voice steady and sound confident.
"Don't try to hide your fear mortal. You can never win against a Kami like me." He says while flying down to meet the ground.
He lands with a soft thud and continues walking towards you. As he gets closer you start to back away althought his gaze doesn't seem as cold. As he gets closer and closer to Mai and you. You start to step backwards.
Soon enough though you are cought by the collar of your shirt and pulled roughly by the one man you thought would kill you in a split second. Still holding Mai you see a few men come out of the hiding spot behind an abandoned building. Slowly without breaking eye contact still, you set Mai down on the ground gently next to you. The men get the hint and since you were a small part saiyan the men feel a little bit more confident and come to pick up Mai.
