Your POV
I was walking down the steep narrow path on a small planet, my home.
The one planet where life exists without Belmod, at least that's what I though. Until today, he's coming to visit the planet and everyone has to get all the food and decorations up. Oh and it's also his friend and kaioshin Khai's birthday. I don't know how old he's turning, but I know we're around the same age since I was born a few years later than him.
"You ready? (Y/N)?" my friend Cynthia asks as we walk and talk.
"Not yet, it's been forever since iv'e seen him." I say casually jumping onto the now larger path.
Not realizing until it was to late I tripped falling and scraping my cheek on the ground. After standing I felt a warm liquid drip down my face. Slowly i touch it, looking at it i realize it's blood.
"NO NO NO NO NO, I can't have him see me like this." suddenly an idea popped into my head, "I can cover it with makeup."
"Aww, that's bad." she says sympathetically.
Cynthia has blonde hair and blue eyes with a few freckles scattered on her cheeks and nose. Her personality is much like that of the lonely kid in the back of the class who's actually a really deep person.
After arriving at my house Cynthia walks off to her own. silently I walk thorough the door into the shoe and coat room. after shutting the door i take my shoes off and walk towards my bedroom door getting ready for the night.
thinking about Khai a light blush spread across my face. Khai and I had been friends since we were little kids before he had to leave. he had duties to take care of and would be back some time, we had been in contact for a while before we lost each other. Look on the bright side though, he's coming to my planet for his birthday.
Looking in the mirror I see my reflection, makeup time. I reach for my foundation, and pulling it out i realize that it's all out.
"Great." I mumble, "Now i can't cover the scratch."
Later that day i had used a little bit of gel to keep some of my hair over place of it.
"(Y/N)!" I hear Belmod yell.
Running to him I ask him what he needs. He says he needs me to escort Khai to the party place and he needs me to address him normally not as Sir or Kami or anything else just as Belmod.
Walking through the town center i see decorations of all sorts of colors everywhere. Khai should be arriving within the next few minutes. The party looks almost fully done and ready for him.
While i'm walking and admiring the work i bump into someone falling to the ground. Slowly standing up i mutter a 'sorry'
"No need, it was my fault." a voice replies helping me up as i brush myself off.
Realizing who's voice it is i almost instantly blush realizing it's Khai. Looking towards the voice i see it really is Khai. He's wearing his regular clothes looking good as always and looking around curiously.
"What is all of this (Y/N)?" He asks me.
"Something--" I get cut off by Belmod yelling "Happy Birthday!" to Khai.
Khai instantly runs over to Belmod talking to him leaving me alone to go and finish the last second cake decorating.
After finishing the cake decorating I go get changed into some other nice clothes pulling my hair back forgetting about the scratch on my cheek.
"Why wont he talk to me?" I ask cynthia who's sitting in a field with me.
"I don't know." she says stuffing her face with cake.
"oh, well i don't know what to do." i say resting my head on my knees.
"Belmod said something about you and Khai earlier... i don't know maybe just my imagination again."
Not hearing what she said clearly I ask, "what'd you say?"
"Nothing." she looked as if she had done something wrong.
After pressuring her for a little while she still doesn't budge and gets up to leave for more cake. After a few minutes she doesn't come back so i assume that she had gotten distracted with the food and cake.
The wind was blowing slightly and i could hear someones footsteps.
"Who is it?" i ask
"It's me." Someone states. Again realizing who the voice belonged to i blushed deeply.
"Khai." I say. Not realizing i had just said that aloud, he asks me how I've been. Me being me i blushed the whole time we talk.
In the middle of him talking about meeting some guy named Goku, i brush back some of my hair showing the scratch. Khai instantly notices it.
"What happened?" he asks expectantly.
"Oh, n-nothing." i say hands out in front of me defending myself.
"Tell me, please." he asks moving closer to me and touching my cheek.
"Well," he says examining it, "at least it's not infected."
"That's good." i say moving backwards.
Khai notices and moves closer, slowly continuing this for a while until he uses a bit to much force knocking me down he lands on top of me. staring into his eyes he does the same.
" I missed you." is all he says before kissing me on the lips. A short yet, sweet kiss.
Sitting up and staring at the stars in the sky i rest my head on his shoulder.
we stay like that for a little while before we both hear a click, knowing that click it's a camera. shortly after my friend Snapchat's me. opening the Snapchat i see it's a picture of Khai and I with me laying my head on him with the caption of 'Aww so cute'.
"what's that?" khai asks.
"Oh, nothing." I say showing him the photo.
He blushes slightly, you can see it in the dark from the moonlight.
At the end of the night as i'm being walked home by Khai he asks me to be his girlfriend and me being me says yes instantly.
"Bye and Happy Birthday." I say and start to walk away.
"Bye and thank you (Y/N)." he says.
Stopping before the door i see Khai is doing the same.
Turning and running towards Khai we kiss each other again.
"See you later." we both say at the same time.
After that we both stayed in contact also finding out that Belmod had set the whole thing up.
