::Summer::

Summer Elizabeth Rose looked out her fogged window, a pained expression plastered on her face, as she sat on the stand. All she could see was the rain pouring down and the ominous grey clouds replacing the usual azure skies. It was a peculiar weather for the last day of summer in North Carolina, but she didn't pay much attention to it, for she was too busy pondering. She heaved out a long, sad-seeming sigh, as she tried to reminisce on her childhood. All she could remember was laughter and happiness, yet how was that possible when Summer's family was cursed with poverty? Summer's parents had no money, no help, and they always seemed to fight. She tried to picture herself in someone else's shoes, someone else's life - someone like Lucy Jones; the wealthy, beautiful and popular girl who attended Summer's public school, Tebetha High-but, that just made Summer feel worse, knowing that she'd never have her life. Summer knew better than to hope for something so impossible. If there was one thing Summer learned throughout the years, was that fairytales didn't exist. There was no such thing. You had to work for what you wanted. Alas, Summer was only seventeen; a mere teenager. The only thing she could do was do well in school and plaster a fake smile on her face for all the bystanders, for she, Summer Elizabeth Rose was a poor, friendless, and untalented girl. Summer was no rose; she wasn't even a pitiful sunflower.

The prologue is short, but TRUST ME, the chapters will be MUCH longer.

Please comment, vote and become a fan, because depending on the amount of feedback I get, that's when I'll upload chapter one. :)

** When it says " ::Summer:: " that's because it's in HER point of view. I'll be switching point of views so I had to put that up. I hope it wasn't too confusing...
