Taylor's P.O.V

My smile from laughter quickly faded and I was puffing from running. "Wait what?" I said seriously, "I love you" He said certainly with a smile while still leaning over me.

These were those 8 letters I was trying to avoid...once again.

I quickly looked out the window so I wasn't looking into his eyes anymore. His smile faded and he hopped off and sat next to me on the bed as I sat up. "But you don't" He said with a sigh "I get it" He said looking down fixing his hair. "What? No, Jack" I said annoyed that he was giving up. "I didn't mean it like that, I just don't think I'm ready for that yet. That's all" I said calmly putting my head down as well.

He got up off the bed and walked over to the
duffel bag with all his clothes in it to get changed. Right now he only had black joggers on with no shirt.

He was shuffling through his bag aggressively and I knew he was mad at me. "Jack, please calm down" I tried to say reassuringly but that only fired him up even more.

"No Taylor!" he spat as he turned around, "don't you start telling me what to do" he shouted pointing a finger at me.

I just sat there and looked at him In shock. I looked at him for a few second narrowing my eyes in anger, "i thinks it's time we leave" I said getting up and chucking my clothes on from yesterday.

He just turned back around and quickly got changed. We got all of our stuff out of the hotel and went downstairs to check out. The lady that checked us in was there and she looked at me and winked, I just shook my head and let out a giggle.

We left the building and got into Jack's car then drove off. The car ride was silent but not an awkward silence, a calm silence seeing as we were both mad at each other and didn't want to talk about it.

When we arrived at the boys' house I walked inside and saw them all sitting down at the kitchen table. "Oh my god Taylor where have you been!" Jonah said in relief as he ran up and hugged me.

Jack walked in a couple seconds later and saw Jonah hugging me, he just walked past and scoffed in disappointment. It took me a second to process what Jonah said and that he was hugging me but I eventually hugged back.

"What do you mean, I was at a friends house remember?" I said confused as I pulled away from Jonah and looked at the boys crowded around me.

I was still at the front door but jack had taken his grumpy ass upstairs. "We texted and rang you heaps of times but you didn't answer, we were so worried!" Zach said hugging me also.

I immediately got my phone out and saw all the missed texts and calls, I mustn't have heard my phone going off last night when jack and I- never mind.

"Oh uh sorry my phone must have been turned off" I lied as I put it back in my back pocket. "Just make sure you answer next time okay? Logan told us to look out for you while he's gone and thats what we're trying to do" Daniel said trying to calm down as he hugged me as well.

Corbyn just stood there staring at me the whole time I was telling them what happened with narrow eyes.

Shit he definitely knows I was with Jack. Shit shit shit!

The boys all smiled and walked back outside to their skateboards along with Jack. Except for one, Corbyn. I looked at Corbyn and sighed knowing he's going to interrogate me with a thousand questions again.

"Hey Corbs" I said in a cheeky smile trying to get out of it. "Don't even try" He said grabbing my hand and bringing me upstairs into his room. I just threw my head back and groaned.

We got into his room as he shut the door and turned around. I sat on his bed and dropped my head with shame. "I can not believe you Tay" he said in frustration.

"I didn't know he was taking me to the hotel okay I'm sorry!" I said pleadingly. "We agreed that you were just going to take care of him and fix him, not become fuck buddys!" He yelled silently.

"I can't help it okay! I told you I liked him! Am I supposed to just hold back my feelings and not feel happy?" I said with anger in my tone.

"Wow so you even admitted that you guys did the dirty!" He said with wide eyes. "Yeah we fucking did Corbyn, twice!" I said with sass. I gave up trying to lie and just told him the truth.

"Oh, my-" he said spacing out his words as he yelled at me. "Corbyn can you please just accept that I'm happy with Jack! I thought you were my best friend!" I said as a tear escaped my eye.

I was holding myself together but tears were still falling. "Oh Tay I'm so sorry" he said as he ran over to me and hugged me. "Of course I'm happy for you" He said with a calmer voice.

"I just don't want you to get hurt, that's all" he said letting go of me and sitting down on the end of his bed with me.

It was silent for about a minute, good silence though. "He told me he loves me" I said in a sad voice with my head down as I played with my fingers. He turned and stared at me with wide eyes.

"Wait what" he said, his eyes even wider. "He told me he l-" I tried to say again before he cut me off "yeah yeah I heard you I'm just surprised that's all" he said looking down at his lap also.

"Why are you surprised? I thought he's been with heaps of girls before?" I said in a 'duh' tone. "Well Yeah he has been with girls previously but he's never told them he loves them" he said with wide eyes as he looked of into the distance still comprehending what jack said to me.

"Wait what? He hasn't?" I looked at Corbyn with wide eyes in shock.
