When the class bell rang everyone got up and was rushing out to find their next class. Maya, Riley, and Farkle didn't. They stayed in their seats.
"What are we gonna do about new guy?" Farkle asked.
"What do you mean 'what are you gonna do about me?'" Lucas questioned not out the door yet.
"Nothing, huckleberry. We're friends now and there's nothin you can do to change it." Maya explained.
"Well then. Glad I got to choose my friends." Lucas said walking out of the room.
The day went on and on and finally it was lunch. To Lucas's dismay Riley, Maya, and Farkle were the only ones he knew. So he took a seat with them.
"Well can we officially call ourselves friends?" Riley asked all of them.
"I don't know can we!" Maya said with her sarcasm in play.
"Well.." Lucas began "I think we can since you know I'm new and all."
They all sat and laughed and had there lunch together. The next day was the same and they became closer as the weeks went on.
A/N so just be aware that in the next chapter Riley Farkle maya and Lucas are already really good friends doing everything together it's further along in the school year as well. Don't know when that chapter will be up though. Just keep your eye out.
