I am black with light skin who's roots run deeper than the seven seas,
acceptance of all color and creed,
with the passed down scars of my family tree all over me,
an unsafe feeling but yet the wounds remain ungashed from the past,
an equal but how long will it last,
the only saved outcast different from many others no matter white or black,
just because I use my paint brush different but still capable to copy cat an image,
So don't say I'm any different because everyone has dreams you see through eyes with a twinkled glisten,
Reaching past the stars in the sky,
