Annika's POV

I'm laying on bed thinking what just happened, I need to talk to her right now but how am I going to call her if my stupid phone was broken.. I should just go to her place, are you stupid you don't even know where she lives, damn it! I can't stop thinking about the kiss, her soft lips,

Maybe I should just wait until tomorrow to ask her about it, I can't stop overthinking here comes those what if.. I sighed maybe I'm just over complicating things, were not even together. Its just a kiss, nothing more..

I tried to just sleep it all off.. and I immediately fell asleep.

few hours later

I woke up with the smell of bacon lingering all over my room
geez! Sophia is too early.. wait fuck! Soph can't cook, I quickly jumped off my bed and sprinted to the kitchen.

"Mom?!" Omg your back! Missed you Mom, I came near her to give her a tight hug,

"Missed you too honey" Mom's said
I can sense somethings up..

Where's dad? I asked trying to figure out what's going on.

"He's still on a trip" I saw mom's face emotion less..

"What?! I so hate your job , We don't even have time together.. Are you ok Mom?" I asked cause I really feel somethings up

"I'm okay honey, just really exhausted because of work, I missed you and lauren, love you both so much, you'll be the one to take of your younger sis ok" Tears rolling down her face..

its bizzare! I never saw my mom crying and it hurts so bad to see her break down and cry, I really know somethings up and I need to find it out soon.

"Shhhh Mom, listen I missed you too more than you'll ever know" that's all I uttered to say.. Its been like 4 months since I last saw her, well both my parents, I wanna talk to her about certain things that happened to me, I want that daughter and mom talk like everyday before you go to sleep, I just want that feeling of being safe around her like nothing can harm me.

"Mom, I'm staying home today, I wanna just spend this day with you, we can pick up lauren and have some quality time together, What do you say?" I said hoping she will say yes, I don't wanna go to college though,I don't know how to face Diane, I'm afraid of rejection but I knew one of this day we really need to talk. I need new phone also, shopping would be really awesome! I mean my butt still hurting because I landed on it when I slipped but who cares it won't stop me from shopping , its been a while..

"Sounds like a good plan" Mom said. Omg thank god she said yes, "thanks mom" I gave her another hug, now I just need to inform Sophia that I'm not going to College today, I borrowed moms phone and dialed Soph's number.

A - Morning soph!

S- hey princess morning!

A- haha your morning voice sucks you know! anyways I'm not going to college today,

S- stfu! i know its sexy admit it. ;) wait what?!! why your not going ? somethings up with you A, last night I noticed it

A- hmm k if you think its sexy 😝, then so be it haha.. I'll talk to you about it soon just bare with me today, I need to be here for mom and catch things up, yeah somethings up also bc of last night..

S- okay I understand, you better tell me all out ! won't take no for an answer, hope you'll be ok, love you !
