Cold Eyes (Completed)

Part 4

"I'm fine, okay leave me alone, were not even friends, why do you care?"  that's what she said to me and then she started crying I  sat beside and started to comfort her  she turned to me and gave me a big hug as she sobbed violently on my, I rubbed her back and wispered gentle words to her.
"Shhhhhh, it's okay everything is fine" I said softly to her.
"I-I'm s-sorry" she says in between sobs
"Hey you didn't do anything okay it's fine just try to breath think about something you care about"

Danielle

Think of something I care about, that's what she said, little did she know I was crying because I thought I didn't care about anything, but when I really took a moment I realized that there were things that I cared about, even though they were just small things, I still care about them, it felt good, if only for a moment, for once in my life I felt properly comforted, I felt like as if Phyla actually cared about me.

"Better?" Phyla suddenly asked me, dragging me out of my thoughts, I nodded letting her know that I heard her.

"Good, see how easy it can be?" she asked me, it was easy at the moment but I'd have to go home at the end of the day, which I was not looking forward to.

"I-it's easy n-now b-but w-what happens w-when I-I go h-home." I responded without thinking.

"You have  my number, but if you don't wanna go home you can come to my house after school." She said looking at me, probably concerned as to why I didn't wanna go home.

"T-that be n-nice" I said blushing a little at the offer. 

"Okay just make sure your garden knows, my parents are at work till 9 so you could probably stay until they come back unless you want to sleep over?" she said smiling at me softly, I never even realized that it was Friday. 

"Y-yeah s-sure"  I said as I took out my phone to text my mum. 

Danielle:

'Hey mum is it okay if I have a sleepover with My friend ?'

Mum: 

'sure, but what do you plane to sleep in?'

Danielle:

'I'll just wear my clothes. Thanks mum :D'

"Okay mum knows and shes fine with it." I said smiling softly at her.

"Grate, see you after class." she said before giving me one more hug and running off to her locker. I can't believe I'm going to my first sleep over  I thought to myself as I got up to head to class.
