"Niall! You didn't take out the garbage!" I yelled.

"Sorry babe!" He called back to me from the couch.

I pouted and walked over to him, "You aren't sorry." I placed my hands on my hips.

"I am. I really am." He said jokingly before hugging my legs and pulling me onto the couch.

"Ahh!" I let out but he cut me off with a soft kiss. I pulled away before asking, "Why are you so lazy?"

"Because. I like being lazy when we're off tour. And when we're on tour...but that's not the point."

"But this apartment won't clean itself."

"It's clean enough!" He defended.

Niall and I had bought an apartment in London a few months ago after the boys' second tour ended. It was a cute space; not tiny, but not oversized. I loved living with him, even if he was extremely lazy. No, we weren't married if you were wondering - we were only twenty, for God's sake! I mean, that's not that young...but I wasn't ready to be married. We'd been dating for two years and decided to move in together. I never planned on moving with any guy if we weren't married, but hey, I never planned on dating a world famous popstar and becoming a professional dancer. I clearly wasn't much of a planner.

"Whatever! What are we watching?" I swung my legs up onto the couch and rested my head on his lap.

He played with my hair, "TV."

"Really? You serious? You mean, people watch...TV?" I teased.

"Just football." He chuckled.

"You mean soccer."

"Football."

"Soccer."

"American soccer, European football." He compromised. We fought over this daily; he was always watching soccer. Or football. American soccer, European football. "Wanna rent a movie? The game's over. Basically over, at least. There's no hope left."

"Sure!" I piped. I wasn't exactly a soccer fan. Er, football fan. American soc- wait, I've already been over this. You get the point. I hope you do at least, because I'm not explaining it again.

I let Niall pick a movie and surprise me. I popped some popcorn and grabbed a big fuzzy blanket. Yay for fuzzy blankets. I like fuzz.

I sat back down on the couch beside my boyfriend and the movie started to play. The opening credits started to 'Teach Me How To Dougie'.

"My jam!" I squealed as I got up to dougie. This just proved how comfortable I was around him; I was not afraid to dougie in front of him.

Niall stood up too, "Teach me how to dougie! For real, though, I can't dougie!"

"You can't dance!" I rolled my eyes, continuing my dougie.

"Then teach me how to dance!"

"Hopeless, but sure! Another time. I wanna finish dougieing and then watch the movie." I winked.

Niall attempted to dougie. Notice I said attempted. You could say it was an epic fail, but that would be a complete understatement.

After the song faded out, we sat back down onto the couch. I started munching on popcorn as I cuddled up into Niall's side.

I took a good whiff of him. Cologne. The best invention ever. I loved Niall's. I had no idea what it was, but it always brought a smile to my face.

"Are you sniffing me again?" Niall teased.

"Maybe?" I trailed off.

"I thought I told you that was creepy and strange."

"I can't help it!" I giggled, "I am creepy and strange! Don't blame me. I was born this way. Ooh!" I broke into Lady GaGa.

"Oh my God, why did I move in with you?"

"Because I make the best homemade pickles?" I offered.

"You can't make pickles. They grow on a tree or something."

I thought for a second, "I think they grow on a bush."

"Plant, maybe?"

"Aren't they like aged cucumbers or something?"

"They are!"

"Let's Wikipedia that later!" That site literally got me through school. No joke. "We already missed like the entire beginning of the movie, though...whoops?"

Niall rewinded to the beginning and brought me in closer to him. I sniffed him again, but more obvious this time just so he'd notice. He grinned at me and rolled his eyes, and I returned a cheeky smile.

"You know I'm your favorite person in the world." I nudged him.

"Do I?"

"You do. I'm also your favorite girlfriend."

"As opposed to the rest of my girlfriends?"

"Exactly! Because I'm obviously the prettiest. And I can make pickles. So, as people would say, I'm not just a pretty face." I joked.

"Well, you do have a pretty face. And we can just pretend you're good at making pickles." He pressed his lips to my forehead and I placed my head in the crook of his neck.

Life was definitely good.

So that's the end! If you liked this book, I suggest you check out my new book Heartbreakers! It's not a fan fiction, but I'm really excited about the plot and I think my writing has matured a lot.

Read the next chapter for a bit of an author's note :)
