"Calista, this is important!" Bailey was telling me.
"No it's not! It's not like I even want to go on this anyway. I hate Niall. I just agreed to this because he said that he would leave me alone if I agreed. Honestly? I hope he'd just go die in a hole. He betrayed me and my trust. I mean, who cheats on their freaking girlfriend who's in the hospital?"
"He wasn't cheating on you! I was talking to Liam and he said that Niall wasn't cheating. He told me that Niall had this great plan for tonight. And he'll prove to you that we wasn't cheating, too."
"How could you be on his side? I saw him! She was all over him!" I protested.
She hesitated, "But was he all over her?"
I paused, knowing the answer was no, "But he wasn't doing anything to stop her."
"Maybe he was just about before you came in."
I thought about this for a while before answering. I responded monotone, "What should I wear?"
Bailey smiled and squealed, "I don't know, but as soon as we get to Cardiff, we're going shopping!"
I groaned, "Can you just go shopping for me? I don't really wanna go, especially if I need to be babied in this stupid wheelchair."
"I guess..." She trailed off, knowing the whole wheelchair thing was a sore topic. "I already know your size and style, so I'll just buy a few things and you can pick what you want. I'll just return the things you don't want to wear."
"Thanks. Now can I please go to sleep? I need to get out of this stupid, Niall-filled world."
"Sure." She said, and I dozed off.

On the beach. Niall and I. Let's make this more cliche, shall we? Why not throw in a little string quartet in the corner. Wait...there aren't corners on a beach. Scratch that.
He grabbed hold of my hand, the cold water brushing up onto our feet. Each step we took left a footprint that eventually washed away. I had no wheelchair, no cast, no injuries. The warm sun was setting, but it was still hot on my skin.
He stepped in front of me, stopping me from going any further. He looked deep into my eyes, a warm smile making its was across his face. "I love you, Calista."
My face turned crimson, as it always did when I was around him. I grinned, "I love you, too."
He pressed his lips against my forehead. I looked up at him, straight into his gorgeous blue irises. "What did I do to deserve you?" I whispered.
"Exactly what I was just thinking."
And everything was perfect, like it was my own little fan fiction world.
--
I jerked awake to Jade shaking me. "What?" I snapped.
She put her hands up innocently, "Whoa, I was just waking you up to tell you we were in Cardiff at the hotel."
"I was literally sleeping for five minutes, how are we already here?" I questioned.
Jade informed me, "Babe, you were like asleep for, like, four hours."
"Oh, okay." I paused. "Well, um, I, uh, feel bad for asking this...but could you please help me out of the bus? It looks like everyone else, uh, left."
"Yeah, of course! That's why I came here!" She laughed.
"Thanks, I-I'm sorry you have to help me. I feel bad that you have to-"
"Cal, come on. It's no big deal," she helped me get out of the bed and hop over to the door. I grabbed onto the railing for the stairs, and she supported me from the back. I hopped down each step. Trust me, it's harder than it seems, especially with only one hand to use.
I finally made my way out of the bus, and I got settled into my wheelchair. "I hate that I have to do this for so long. This sucks."
"Babe, it'll get easier soon. Now, Bailey was telling me you have this big date with Niall tonight, shall we get ready for that?" She smiled.
She was so sweet, yet right then I wanted to hurt her for bringing Niall up. After that dream I just had...I didn't even know what to think anymore. Did he or did he not cheat? Do I love him or do I not love him? Does he love me back if I do love him?
So maybe I didn't hate him. Hate was probably the exact opposite of what I felt. In fact, I did love him. I knew that now. Maybe that's why this all hurt so much. Being betrayed by the person you love is the worst thing in the world. But how could I love him if he cheated? I guess I had to hate him because I loved him. Ugh, that doesn't even make sense. Why did my life have to be so complicated and annoying?

Showering. What an adventure. Trying to get clean on one leg only using one arm. Not the easiest task, I tell you.
"So you have these three choices. Now choose." Bailey forced, laying out three dresses.
There were three dresses laying in front of me, but only one stood out. It was this short, strapless, creamy gold lace dress. It was absolutely gorgeous. [note: picture of dress on the side! it's so cutee!]
"That one." I pointed to it and Bailey grinned widely.
"That's the one I liked best, too!"
She helped me get into it, and let me tell you, it was almost as hard as the shower. Yeah, normally it'd be awkward having someone else change you, but it was Bailey. She was practically more of a sister to me than Marissa. It was actually a little sad.
"Ah, it looks so hot on you! Niall's gonna love you in this!" She squealed.
"Bay, you need to chill. We're not even together."
"He's your boyfriend! He didn't cheat! I don't know exactly how, but you'll know by the end of tonight! And then you'll live happily ever after, get married, have cute little Horan babies, and then you'll grow old together, and aw! I'll be able to say I witnessed it all!"
I rolled my eyes at my best friend, "And what happens if I don't know by the end of the night and he actually did cheat?"
"Well, why should I think about that if it's not gonna happen?" She smiled.
"You're so annoying!" I laughed.
"Thanks!" She grinned, grabbing my makeup bag. "Let's make you up, shall we?"
I giggled, "Can we not be dorks, for just like a minute?"
She pretended to think about it for a second, "Nope."

I did not want to ask. I couldn't ask. I wouldn't ask. But I asked...
"Um, I need, uh, could you, um, help, please?" I stuttered out.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry." Niall said, lifting me out of my wheelchair and into the car with ease. Six pack. On my side. Six pack on side. Six pack on side! Oh Lord. Damn you, Calista. Why do you have to be so crippled and useless? You could've easily just climbed into the car by yourself if you hadn't had a broken leg and fractured wrist. Then you wouldn't have had to have a six pack on your side. Or was it an eight pack? Who even knew?
He placed me in the passenger seat and shut the door, coming in on the drivers' side. I pointed out, "Last time we were in this position was when we got hit by a drunk driver."
No reponse.
Okay, sore topic. Maybe it wasn't smart of me to bring it up. Don't blame me. I'm stupid.
After driving for a while, we arrived at this big park. It had waterfalls, flowers, trees, and was absolutely gorgeous. It was something you'd see in a dream.
He jumped out, coming over to the passenger side door. He lifted me from my seat, placing me in my stupid wheelchair. Sometimes I just wanted to throw that thing into some sort of black hole. Where can I buy a black hole? I wonder if Wal-Mart has them.
"Wow." I gasped. I tried to contain my amazement because I was still mad at Niall, but it was extremely hard - it was so gorgeous!
"So...you like it?" He asked, hopefully.
I didn't respond. I didn't want him to think I forgave him for anything just because he brought me here.
"Hold on," he said, "I just have to get a few things from the boot." He ran around the car. He grabbed a few things, shutting the trunk. He came back around with a guitar case and a picnic basket. No. You have got to be kidding me. Being mad at him was just getting harder and harder...
I rolled through the park behind Niall, just thinking. Was I actually going to give in tonight and forgive him? I mean, maybe he didn't cheat. It could've just been a misunderstanding. Easily. But no. I couldn't be that willing to forgive... then I'd just seem weak. But if I didn't forgive him and he didn't cheat then that'd be just wrong...
He stopped at a shaded place under a tree and set down everything. He helped me out of the wheelchair and onto the picnic blanket. I was getting a little tired of having to be carried everywhere...
"Thanks," I said.
"No problem. So, I told you I was going to prove to you that I did not cheat on you."
