I walk down the hallway of school and I hear people whisper things like Look at that gross mess oh, wait that's just Morgan and stuff like Sally!! Get away from that girl.
Every few seconds I would look around to see if my crush, Cameron Davis (Named after one of the authors cousins) , even cared about me. But I could hear him saying rude things about me.
I wish he could just notice me....
I go to my locker and grab my science textbook and meet with my best friend, Ana, as we go to our first class. The bell rings and we rush into class and sit next to eachother.
I hear the door open and I turn around and see Cameron. The last time I checked, he's not in this class.
"Mr. Davis, what are you doing in here?" Mrs. Lenz asks.
"Um. I'm looking for Morgan Cooper, she's needed in room," he pauses and looks at a small piece of paper, "205."
"Ok then. Morgan," I look at her, "Go with Cameron." I nod and quietly walk over and I follow him out the door.
"Uh-uh w-why am I g-going to a different c-class?"I ask.
"Don't ask me. Hey, are you new?" He did not just say that.
"Um. No. I've gone to the same school as you since 1st grade," I argue back.
"Oh. Hmm. Sorry, I guess."
That was awkward, I've been watching his every move, only because I like him, but he hasn't noticed me for the last eight years. Wow...
We awkwardly walk down the hall way to room 205, I follow him in andIi greeted by a teacher, his badge says 'Mr. Kelly'
Cameron walked out of the room and I broke the silence by saying, "One question, why are we here?"
"You are getting your schedule changed."
Mr. Kelly hands me a folded piece of paper, and I open it up. I stare at it while I'm going down the list.
Crap, I have no classes with Ana. Now how am I going to survive the school days.
I get up and head out the door to where Cameron was standing, "Lets me guess I have to tutor you or something?"
"No, I'm probably smarter than yo-"
"Haha, your funny," I could hear the sarcasm in his voice.
"For real now, I got my schedule changed," he motioned for me to give the sheet of paper to him so I did.
"Well it looks like we have all but one class together."
"Oh boy, this is going to be bad," I try to act disappointed, but really I had been doing a happy dance in my head because well, he's my crush.
