Joe's P.O.V:

I kept driving not looking back. By now everyone in the car awake and confused on why ev is missing

"Hey joe, where'd ev go?" doc asked

"She's gone" I choked out

"What you just let her go?" doc asked hurt and mad

"You really think i'd do that, hell no. I tried convincing her, but she threatened to turn me into a walker" I said ashamed, "She also said she was sorry for being selfish and leaving us like this. She also told me to tell you that she loves you" I said to death

He had tears streaming down his face along with the others in the car. But our sentimental moment ended when we heard gun shots. I stop the car and everyone gets out and so do I. We get out and see a group of people trying to shoot at us but failing miserably. I grab my gun and shoot down two guys. The rest ran off. After everyone was checking on each other making sure everyone's okay, I can't help but feel bad that I let ev go so easily.

Nick's P.O.V:

"Hey you okay baby?" jessica asked me

Let me tell you what happened. Back when we started a relationship, she threatened to torture ev and then kill her. I love her too much to let her die so I did everything she told me to do. Biggest mistake i've made so far.

"Yeah i'm fine you?" I asked faking my concern

"I think i'm okay, I just feel really sick" she said rubbing her stomach

"Okay you should go back inside the truck i'm gonna catch up with the others"  I said and she nodded her head

I walk over to the others and see ev missing

"Hey, where did ev go?" I asked

"like you care" Seth snapped at me

"Actually I do care seth" I snapped back

"Yeah right because you totally showed that you care about her at our last stop" he scoffed

"To answer your question nick, she ran away" joe told me, I whipped my head so fast I should've gotten whip lash

"She also told me to tell you that she's sorry and that she loves you" joe said patting my shoulder

All I felt was heart break and everything go numb

"Doc?" I asked getting his attention

"What's up?" He said not getting mad at me

"Um, jessica is getting sick can you check on her and see if it's nothing more than a cold?" I asked actually caring about her

"Sure buddy" he said walking over to the truck

I wait on a rock just thinking on why she would just leave like that. I heard a branch break so I pull out my knife getting ready to stab any walker, but luckily it was just doc.

"Jeez doc you scared me" I said holding my chest breathing hard, "how is she?"

"Have you guys had sex recently?" doc asked

"Yeah, why?" I asked confused on why that mattered

"She's pregnant dude" doc told me

"Shit" I said under my breath

"Lets go everyone" josh told us. It reminded me of ev

*9 MONTHS LATER*

Ev's P.O.V:

I've been in a remote place for however long it has been. I've put up some traps just in case anyone tires to get to me or any walkers try to eat me. I'm staying in a house with clothes and a water supply like never before. My hair has grown out so I cut it like it used to look like. I have a car that comes with fuel in the basement. I've been eating a little but not a lot. Just enough to get me through a day, which isn't much. I do want to see the others again. Maybe today will be the day I find them. I get done drinking some water and finish eating my apple then start to pack. I pack all the water and half of the fuel from the basement and start driving down the road. I keep driving getting used to what the outside looked like again. I look to my right and left and see no one. Not a shocker. I keep driving slow and I see one of the groups' trucks. I quickly stop and pull over and go inspect. I walk over and open the front door and see a sign that says "Welcome to New Mexico" I run back over and drive a route that gets me to New Mexico. It was starting to become night time and I was getting tired but that didn't stop me. The sun started to rise and I could barely keeps my eyes open. I closed my eyes for a second but then woke up when I hit my head on my steering wheel. I laugh at myself and keep driving. I drove past a sign that said welcome to Texas. I sigh in relief that i'm really close to New Mexico. I found a place on top of a hill that looked abandoned. I walked into the house and found no one here. I walk around and see that this place has a garage. I go back outside and park the car into the garage just because I don't want anyone to steal it. I went over to the couch and take a short nap and then i'll keep going after I wake up.

I woke up after what felt like 5 minuets but was most likely 3 hours because now the sun is blazing. I get up and stretch and get some water and drink it. I also filled up the car with fuel and start to drive again. After hours of driving I finally make it to New Mexico and drive everywhere. I saw the other truck on top of a hill and I drove up to see why it's on a hill. I drive up the hill and I see them all frustrated and confused. I parked my car a little bit down the hill just enough so they won't see me and I stalk into their conversation.

"Man I really miss ev" said what sounded like Seth

"Me too, its been forever Seth. She'll be back I know it" said what sounded like reyn

I decided to get back into my car and park it on the opposite sod of them. So I would park in front of them. I drive and park and take a deep breath and get out. The first person I see get out of the truck is death. I run over to him and give him a hug and cry. He did the same and that's what pretty much happened with everyone else and them telling me that's it's good that I'm back except for nick and Jessica

"It's good to be back" I said missing them, "so what has happened since I was gone?" I asked and no one answered, "well?" I asked impatient

"Ev lets go talk privately" josh told me

"Okay" I said following him to the bottom of the hill

"Wait for a second" I told him getting into my car, "okay now let's go. I don't want to walk down a hill and then back up" I told him and he laughing at me

We get to the bottom of the hill and we stay inside because we wanted to

"Okay, you have to promise you won't get mad when I tell you this" he told me

"Okay go" I said facing him

"Jessica is pregnant" he said with a pause, "and its nicks baby" he told me
