Damian's P.O.V. I was forced to spend the last day of summer vacation with Grayson, Todd, and Drake while father is away on a mission with the Justice League. We got up early so we started the day by going to a coffee shop that Drake told us about. We went in and ordered our drinks and sat down at a table. After a few minutes, a girl walked through the door. She looked like she was the same age as me. She ordered her coffee and sat down at a table near us. She pulled a book out of her bag and read as she drank her strange Pink Coffee. I saw the book was Invitation to a Beheading which I was surprised by. I was looking at her and I don't think she noticed me. But Grayson notices I was staring at something and asked: "Hey Little D what are you staring at." I replied while looking away "nothing and don't call me that" Then Todd looked in the direction I was and said while chucking "he's staring at a girl" Though this whole conversation Drake was just drinking his coffee looking like a corpse. Then almost almost on cue she got up and left. __________❤️__________

Valkyrie's P.O.V. I got up in the morning and started my day. I start my first day the living hell known High School tomorrow. I began my last day of freedom by going to my usual coffee shop. I went in, ordered a unicorn coffee, and sat down at a table. I opened my copy of Invitation to a Beheading. At that moment I felt someone staring at me which is usually so I did not feel like looking back. After a minute they started to talk and I could hear them. One voice that sounded older said, "Hey Little D what are you staring at." Then one that sounded younger, closer to my age say "nothing and don't call me that." Last another older one said "he's staring at a girl" I finished my coffee and got up. As I walked away I caught a glimpse of the boy that was staring at me. He had Pitch Black Hair and Emerald Eyes he was quite attractive by most standards. He looked familiar but I could not remember where though.
Sorry that this first chapter is a bit cringe-worthy I wanted to do a chapter to introduce the characters. The following chapters will be better.
