I went upstairs alone, Aaron stayed downstairs to talk to Massie. As I went upstairs, I thought about texting Toby about the party. I had changed my mind because I didn't think that Aaron wanted him to come. I walked toward my room, but I heard laughing and music, as I rounded the corner, I could see that the party was poring out of Josh and Aaron's room. I forced my way through to my room.
I opened the door to find Hannah, texting on her bed. "Let's go to the party." I thrilled. "I told Aaron we would."
"I'm not the partying type." She replied, flatly. "You can go if you want though. I rather just stay here and read."
"PLEAAAASE!" I begged. "Don't make me go alone. It'll be a good way to make friends, maybe meet someone." She sighed. I continued. "It'll be fun, the whole floor is there."
"Fine." She reluctantly got off her bed. "I'm sure it won't be too bad."
We opened the door to find Aaron about to knock. "Oh hey." He said. "You guys are coming. I thought that Massie made you change your mind."
Hannah gave me a confused look. I whispered, "I'll tell you later." I spoke loud enough this time so that Aaron could hear too. "No, we are definitely coming." We walked out the door and closed it. The party was up to our door now. I turned to Hannah, "you're going to be fine. Let's go have some fun."
Aaron grabbed my hand and I grabbed Hannah's hand. He pulled us through the crowed of people, into his room. There were a lot people jammed into the room. "Umm...this is a little tight." Hannah yelled over the music.
"Its great!" Aaron yelled back. "You guys want a drink?"
"Yes, please." I yelled.
"No, thank you." Hannah yelled.
Aaron left to go get the drinks. That's when Massie came over and yelled, "You little bitch, he was mine and you took him." The music was so loud inside the room, I could barely hear her and thank god, meant only the people right next to us could only hear us. They kind of turned and looked at us like something was about to go down.
I looked at her very confused. "I didn't do anything." I yelled back. "I just came to a party, I was invited to."
"Watch your back." She stormed out.
Aaron came back with two cups in hand, he passed one to me. I took a sip and shuddered because of the taste of cheap beer. He yelled, "what did Massie say to you?" but I couldn't hear him.
"HUH?" I yelled.
He leaned in so close that his soft lips brushed my ear and I giggled. "I said, what did Massie say to you?"
"I'll tell you later," I yelled. "For now, I just want to have fun."
Hannah ended up disappearing into the crowd. I assumed she left and back to our room. As the night went on, I met a few good people. That is when I saw Hannah chatting to a cute guy with glasses. I beamed and smiled at her when she saw me as she continued to talk to him. Aaron had stuck to my side the entire night. The party started to die down around two in the morning and I was a little bit drunk. I looked around for Hannah but there was only Aaron left in the room.
"Hey little miss drunky." He laughed. "Hannah left an hour ago, she told me to tell you that she was tired and going to bed." He smiled to stifle a laugh because I stumbled standing still. "Come on, let's go to bed."
