If I wrote the perfect love story it would start like this ...
ALIYAH POV
I woke up this morning not ready for my first day of class, it is way too early and I haven't woken up this early in a long while. It's too early to get dressed so Nike leggings, a Cal State hoodie, and a high bun is how I left the house.
Luckily, it's a psych class and I don't mind sitting through this lecture. I walk into class and purposely find the seat that has the least people around. The class isn't packed at all, considering it is 8 am.
My constant thought while getting myself situated is that I hope nobody sits next to me. the girl who walked in late chooses to sit next to me, of all seats she sits next to me. I never even looked up at her, I didn't want to give her any chance to start a conversation. I simply continued to add to the two pages of notes I'd already had written. Time passed and the professor seemed to be talking in slow motion until finally, the 45minute class came to an end.
"Excuse me, uhh Aliyah", the girl sitting next to me spoke while I continued to pack my things.
"Yes", shocked I answered, wondering how anyone in this class even knew my name.
She was now standing and asked me if she could take a picture of the notes I'd taken before she walked in. Of course, I didn't mind but when I looked up at her I froze, realizing how beautiful she actually is. She was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen actually. She's my height or maybe a little taller than me, with hazel eyes, and brown glowing skin. She's wearing the same hoodie I have on with jeans and a hat that was turned backward with her dark brown curly hair flowing down under it. The easiest way to describe her was a tomboy and she had me memorized. Interrupting the embarrassing pause she took the notes out of my hand and began to take pictures.
"Thank you for the notes," she said while walking out of the class and putting my notes back on my desk
"Wait", I said to halt her stride out the door, "how did you know my name?", I asked confused.
She looked at me and smiled with the most perfect teeth I'd ever seen and softly spoke, "It's on your bracelet baby girl".
I looked down at my wrists, remember my nameplate bracelet. When I looked ups he was gone and so I left, grabbed food, and drove home.
Cam POV
I woke up for class this morning like I always do on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, late. This is my last year of college and I still don't know how to make it to class on time. I threw on my favorite hoodie and a pair of jeans that were thrown on the floor that I'd worn the day before. I thought to myself I can just change clothes after class since I have a gap and no one will even see me because none of my friends take 8 am classes anymore.
Nervous to walk into my first masters class late, I slowly crept in and looked for the seat that nobody would notice me sitting in. Instead what I found myself sitting next to was a pretty young thang that had all my attention. She was lighter than I was, with brown eyes and her hair in a high bun. She is wearing the same hoodie as me, looking like she'd just rolled out of bed but she was still fine. So, focused on taking her notes shawty never even looked up at me so I never had the chance to speak. Eventually, the class was over, it seemed like it went by so quickly but maybe that was because all I was thinking about was how could I make this girl look up at me. Before I left I had to say something, anything, so I asked her if I could take a picture of her notes, calling her by the name I saw engraved across her bracelet.
She barely looked up at me before saying yes and giving me her notes. I left the class and started walking back to my dorm room with my roommate who I'd run into soon after walking out of the class. While walking I saw her, Aliyah, driving past me and I stopped to stare for a second. her car was a cute one. typical girl car, white Nissan Altima.
