CoryMartinson played rugby and hockey in high school, but most of his favoritephysical activities take place outdoors. He was born in Port Hardy, BritishColumbia, where there are a plethora of opportunities for enjoying nature. Thesmall town sits on Queen Charlotte Strait, a top destination for cold waterrecreation. The Pacific contains an array of wild marine life and residentsoften spot whales along the rugged coast. Cory developed resilience hikingsteep trails and scanning for bears and eagles while camping. He credits hischildhood with his lifelong love of the wild.
