On Cory Martinson's coat of arms, you'll read the phrase, "Superare Adversitatem," which is Latin for "Conquer Adversity." Almost from birth, Cory viewed challenges as opportunities, not setbacks. His three older brothers didn't make anything easy for him, as there was always someone bigger, stronger, and faster. When he became a reservist in the army, he demonstrated his determination throughout his military career. In each of his professional roles, Cory has viewed difficulty as a way to distinguish himself and mistakes as learning opportunities.
