"Feyth, you haven't been yourself lately. Is everything okay?"
Dad asked with his strong French accent. I turned to him from my current position, "I'm alright, dad. Don't worry. I just need a break from everything, sometimes. I hope that's natural." I lightly smiled. He put his hand on my head, and patted warmly, "Of course, have your time. But, stay strong about everything. It's our tradition, no?" I brush my hair backwards, "It is." with a tired yet seriousness on my face.He slowly shut the door behind him. The room is dark, again. I sit on my couch, and rub my temples. Everything I see around, is all black and white. I feel, like, I haven't seen colors for ages. There are many reasons why I feel this way, but from my heart, I'm sure there's just one story behind this.
I try not to, but... I miss William.

"Make sure we reach there within 15 minutes, when the money and products are exchanged. We can't let them go away. It's a matter of thousands of people in that city." I tell the boys as we prepare to head to one of the places where huge or local criminals make deals. Lucas came near me, and asked, "You sure, you can do this? I could come with you." I face on the other side, and load my guns, "I've been doing this for years, Luke." and I look at him, "You always don't have to show that you care." He smirked, and opened his mouth to say something, but I hopped inside the jeep. He kept his hand on the door, "Did you ever plan on killing me?" He said, flirtatiously. While putting on my bullet proof jacket and locking the seat belt, "Uncountable. I don't even know when was the last time I didn't think of killing you." He let out a laugh, and I looked at him. "Look, Lucas." He gets closer to me with a mischievous smile, "I don't hate you, but the problem is, I don't like you, either. See someone else 'cause you wastin' yo time on me." I sarcastically smile, and press the window button. He quickly pulls out himself outside. He mouths me, "What the fuck?" and I show him my middle finger. I wish he died by the pressure of the window rolling up.
Wondering who Lucas is? He is my dad's friend, Uncle Isaac's son. Isaac died when Lucas was 12, and before dying, he told dad to keep his son with us. We've almost grown up together, while he became an asshole when he turned 16. That's when a guy either gets their finest looks, or becomes a trash. In his case, he is hot, and any girl would fall and die for him, but the reason I hate him is because of his ego and attitude. He is never sweet. He is either the worst or flirty. None in between.
Nope, I don't like the flirtatious him.
As I reach the place, I look on the back view mirror to check the others behind mine. I turn on my bluetooth device, "Can everyone hear me?"
"Yes."
"Okay, let's split up now."
With me, came Mathew. A guy who joined 7 months ago. I'm not sure, but he is some relative of my dad. He is a good guy and trustworthy, I could say, but he's Lucas's really good friend.
Well, opposite polls attract.
"We'll have to wait till they're done, alright?" Mathew speaks to everyone. I put one of my gun in my boots, and the other in my waist belt. "Evening snacks are so good, they distract me from the mission." He says by leaning against my jeep. "Do good in this, and you'll get a sexy dinner." He laughs. He looks around and scratches his head, "Can I ask you something?" I looked at him and then up at the sky, "Unless it's some stupid thing related to Luke, you can go ahead." with my lips curved, but not a smile.
"You don't laugh or smile much. I mean, I get that it's according to your profession, but you're not like us." I start to feel uncomfortable deep down inside. What should I say him?
"It doesn't bother you, does it?"
"No, I just wanna know. Sometimes, it feels awkward when you don't laugh at my jokes."
I almost laughed at him.
"Yeah, the least you could do is smile." He tells me right after I laughed. I sighed, "Uh, I barely consume things like that into myself. I just, you know, mostly live in the dark side of life." I lean against the same surface as his and continue, "So, I'm just used to being unemotional." I shrugged. He looked at me, "You can talk to me." I looked at him, "We'll see." Suddenly, I heard a gun shot. I gasped. "Oh, shit!" Mathew cursed under his breathe, and we both ran to the location where the criminals were dealing. I pulled my gun out from my waist belt, while the others triggered theirs. As we went closer to the place, we heard a man groaning. The cars were escaping from us, "Go follow them. Fast!" I yelled at the boys. I went towards the man by pointing the gun at him, and asked, "Who are you?" The man tried to look at me, but due to his pain, he couldn't take his head up. "I'm Jason's man." I saw a gun beside him, and I quickly picked it up, and threw it at Mathew. He caught it and tried to read the tiny label were the initials are given. "It's the Michael's."
The Michael's are our enemy. They do things in order to destroy some particular places. They say, that less the people in a society, more the peace. I would agree, but I don't, because our family does not stereotype. There are societies who are well behaved, and help each other. Their main target is to capture precious things, like, golds, plots and buildings. So, they could do something big to be rich. Suckers.
"We gotta take this guy. Would be better if we could dig into any information." I told Mathew, and he called the boys to take the man in our jeep. I look at the man and say, "You're doomed." because he sold stuff like that. I roamed; walked back and forth, "As far as I could assume, they took the things and took back the money, as well." Mathew nodded.
"We caught a car!" One of our boys yelled through the bluetooth device. My eyes widen, "Great! don't let them escape, and send us your location." I looked at everyone else, "Hurry!" I screamed, "They caught one!"
While driving, Mathew kept on checking the location. "Strange location, huh?"
"Yeah, I've been thinking about that, too. Do you think about a personal plan B?" We looked at each other.
Hello, readers! ( ゚▽゚)/ Another book of mine. If you didn't know, action related stories are kinda my favorite. Especially, in the case of writing. So, I hope I can make this a good one!
