But We Will Be Show Stoppers

Later that afternoon when the Battle team came over "Diamond Assassins " I didn't pick the name our coach did so it's whatever. We're notoriously known for making a diamond shape every time we dance in group and kill everything we perform so I guess it's not that bad.

we worked on our regular routine and our battle routine until 6 then I allowed everyone to go home change and rest until 7:45 pm. I say 7:45 but I mean 8, black people aren't very punctual. If we would've had a new member join I would say 8 and the entire battle team would be seated at the table and quiet by 8:01pm to show this is a serious team and we all respect each other. Anyone late would be running and doing up downs, 2 for every minute late.

But as far as dinner meetings I've been cutting a little slack since we always practice before and everyone is drained by then. It's only the battle team that has dinner meetings. This is an elite group consisting of 9 people me and Dayuni being in that 8. Everyone was here and seated by 8 pm. I told them they could wear whatever since my mom wasn't here to give her odd wrath of not being dressed even though the sun was still out.

As everyone was eating, red beans, rice, corn bread, fried chicken, greens and macaroni. I announced that I was about to speak and everyone got quiet because however many times I have to repeat myself they know it's 2 of whatever punishment I give, "listen ladies, we've been invited to do a dance battle in Houston Texas July 4th for a big event. I know some of y'all are thinking you won't be able to go because you can't get there. We NEED all 9 of us.

If we have to take my jet to make sure everyone gets there then so be it. But we WILL perform and act an ass in the state of Texas.

I know everyone is waiting to hear what we get from this. 1) it'll be live on national television 2) the grand prize is a 7 foot tall trophy 3) $50,000 and 4) a scholarship to any school of performing art we choose . Between the 8 of y'all that's an even $6,250 each and I think we all know who needs that scholarship.

I just want the trophy. We'll be battling the jazzy Divas they say they're Houston's best team..or whatever . It's time LA shut that shit up.

For the next week I want each of you to find any videos you can of this group and study them. Find their patterns and weak spots what don't they hit all the time and what kept them consistent in winning. We will be the baddest undefeated team in the South by the end of 2014."

By now everyone's confidence was just as high as their anticipation. The Diamond Assassins won't be stopped. But we will be show stoppers.
