Soon enough, closing time approaches, and the few families that were still in the restaurant, lead their kids out of the building as the workers go around to clean up any sort of food or junk on the ground, stage, or tables left behind. Alyssa pulls the sleeve of her shirt up to look at the watch around her wrist: 9:50 pm. Lowering her sleeve and hand down again, the young lady began looking around the building, trying to find that purple shirt bastard who would be training her in an hour.
Vincent, however, is in the employee's room, looking himself over in a mirror on the wall, putting on his hat after brushing through his hair with his fingers. "Alright you metallic animals, let's see what your new friend has to bring to the table~" he says, smiling at his reflection before walking out of the room and shutting the door behind him. Heading back out into the main area, the male night guard would see the newbie staring at the stage. The purple man smirks and watches her with interest.
She looks at Bonnie first, then Freddy, and then Chica before quickly doing a double-take back to Freddy. "What the...?" she mutters under her breath. "I thought he..." but stops her thought and shakes her head, deciding to ignore the idea. "Ridiculous, they only move when they're supposed to." But a thought wouldn't leave the back of her mind. "So... why did he look at me?"
Overhearing the conversation she's having with herself, the dark-haired man smirks at the animatronics on stage. 'A little early don't you guys think?~' he thought to himself.
Alyssa takes a few steps back, now feeling the man's stare on her, turns around and looks over to him. "Are there some things we need to do before we start?" she asks to try and distract her mind. "Lock the doors, I know, but what else?"
Vincent crosses his arms as he thinks for a moment, then responds, "We have to make sure all the lights are off and the rooms are picked up. And, of course, the doors have to be locked."
"Alright." she nods. "It's almost ten, so I'm checking the private party rooms for anything left behind." Then she points to the middle of the room before continuing with a slight glare. "You stay here, far, far away from that room. Got it? Good," she smiles. "Bye." With that, Alyssa turns and walks away from her companion, quickly heading over to the hall with the side party room.
He raises an eyebrow at her, then shrugs and leaves to check the other end of the restaurant.
Alyssa eventually gets to the Pirate's Cove party room. Walking around while making sure the tables are cleaned up and nothing is under them or anywhere else. Her gaze shifts to the stage again and the night guard slowly walks over to it. Grabbing the curtain again and moving it to the side, she peaks her head in to see both animatronics but notices something different and not very comforting. "Wasn't Foxy's head lowered...?" she asks herself, then turns to look at the first mate. "And Kitten wasn't in that position..." After staring for a moment, she pulls away and releases the curtain. Trying to figure out what was going on. 'Maybe someone moved them while everyone was out...' the brunette thinks to herself, then turns away from the stage. 'First Freddy, now Foxy and Kitten... The hell is going on...?' Alyssa looks up at the lights and notices a camera facing the stage. Has that always been there? "That's even weirder..." she mumbles, walking to and out the door, closing it behind her.
The other night guard checks the kitchen and the back rooms to find nothing out of the ordinary. Looking at a clock to see it's past 11:00, he lets out a breath of air, then smirks, "Alright, let's get this show started~" Vincent walks back out to the main party room to see his trainee done with her walkthrough as well.
She looks up to see him and resists the urge to groan, taking a deep breath and crossing her arms before saying, "Party rooms are secure..."
"Kitchen and back rooms are all clear," Vincent informs with his casual smirk on. "Sounds like the place is clear," he notes and starts walking down a hall, talking as he walks. "Come on. Time to head to the security room."
Alyssa quickly rushes up and follows him. Looking around the hall and noticing how dark and creepy it got when they were the only ones here. 'Was it really this dark down here? I don't remember this part of the building too well...' As they walk, the newbie also starts to notice a few of the children's pictures on the walls look like children crying; but after doing a double-take, they're back to the normal children's drawings of them and the gang. Feeling more anxious, she speeds up a bit, making sure to stay close to the only other person there.
Vincent could feel her anxiety growing and he chuckles a bit in her direction. "Aww~ Is someone afraid of the dark?~" he smirks back at her.
Not in the mood for his shit, she glares at him. "Shut up!" she says, annoyed, yet still scared. "It's not the dark I'm scared of. Maybe it's the creepy psychopath in front of me," she offers and crosses her arms.
"Aww~ Thank you!" he snickers with a grin and walks into a room with two doorways, one on each side of the area, and a tablet sitting on a desk in the front of the room, a metal fan whirring on the metal surface. "Here we are!" he states as he plops down in the chair on wheels with a smile, arms outstretched as if to show off the room.
The newbie walks into the office and looks around, noticing all the trash and papers piled everywhere, as well as the other appliances standing to the side of the desk; feeling disgusted at the sight. Alyssa then notices the cupcake on top of one of the said appliances, looking almost identical to Chica's cupcake. "This place really needs to get cleaned up." she comments aloud, then looks back at the other night guard and asks, "Why are there two doors?" Looking between them and seeing each door has two buttons: one that says 'Door' and another says 'Light.' "Now I'm really confused..."
"Remember how I said we have a power limit?" Vincent asks looking up at her.
Alyssa turns her attention to him and asks, "So, you don't leave the lights on all night? Not even a few bulbs?"
"Nope. Once midnight hits, all power switches over to a generator with a limited power supply," he says calmly and with a slight grin.
She mentally facepalms herself. 'Now I'm really regretting this...' With a sigh, the brunette continues. "What happens if the power goes out? We'll be in the dark for a while, right?"
"Well..." he starts and spins in the chair a bit. "Let's just say that the 'darkness' from a power outage is another reason some night guards don't stay for long~' he chuckles more to himself than her. "Pull up a chair, toots. We got a long 6-hour shift ahead of us~" he states and leans back in the chair, tipping his hat to cover his face.
In disbelief, Alyssa simply says, "You really are insane..." and sighs. "Fine..." Pulling up another rolling chair that was in the room, the young lady sits down but keeps her distance from her companion. Trying to find something to help pass the time, she reaches over and grabs the tablet from off the desk. As it powers on, a small map of the building is shown in the bottom right of the screen with all the cameras in the building labeled in their appropriate locations. Flipping through the different cameras confusingly, she stops on the kitchen camera and looks back at Vincent. "Uh... Does anyone know that the kitchen camera is black?" she asks curiously.
Without moving much, he replies, "Steam probably busted the camera's video function. It's been like that since I've been here."
She stares at him for a few seconds, then turns back to the cameras. Continuing to press some buttons, she flips from camera to camera while waiting for the night shift to begin.
