Thomas Castleberry always managed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tonight was no exception. Thomas worked at the towns only hospital. It wasn't a big hospital because the town wasn't big. As always Thomas left work at around 9 p.m. He noticed how bright the moon was as he walked slowly to his car. Something in the dark night made Thomas feel uneasy so he picked up his pace. Feeling more and more uneasy Thomas began running toward his car. He never ran so fast or so hard in his entire life, by the time that Thomas had reached his car he was out of breath and because sweat was pouring from his brow he did not see the creature in front of him.

Before Thomas could yell the creature let out a gut-wrenching growl that cut Thomas down to his inner core. Thomas tried to scream but the creature slashed his throat just enough so that he could not speak or yell for help. It was obvious to Thomas that the creature did not want to kill him at least not yet. the creature. picked Thomas up with one large claw threw him in the back of a pickup truck and sped down the road.
Thomas tried to yell but nothing came out. As he lay on the hard bed of the pickup he could feel his blood pouring from the open wound in his neck. Thomas was not sure what just happened, one minute he is running to his car and the next he is laying in the back of a pickup bleeding. What did he see? Or what was it he thought he saw before everything went black. Was it a man? No not a man. Was it some kind of animal? Yes maybe. Thomas felt his consciousness leaving him. His head was spinning, he was beginning to feel light headed. Thomas didn't want to die he had so much he still wanted to do with his life.
Before Thomas knew it he had lost all consciousness. The truck sped as fast as the driver could make it go. Which believe me wasn't that fast. It was clear to anyone that might have been behind the truck that the driver was having to struggle with it to make it go at any speed.
The creature behind the wheel was thrashing about, roaring with all of its might. Clawing and tearing at every single thing he could. The seats the doors even the windows he managed to destroy. On and on the creature yelled till the night sky gave way to mornings light. And as morning continued to slowly emerge threw the sky the creature began once again to change from being the monster that he had become to the man that he now was. Dr. Chester was confused where was he. At first he didnt realize that he was completely naked then as his head became clear as he looked around at his surroundings he grab for the extra pair of clothes he kept under the seat. As Doctor Chester got dressed he realized that he had once again turned into a monster. He did not know what he was going to do next. All he knew, was that he just wanted to be normal once again.
