Kuro sat on the sandy ground of the desert, looking down sadly. He couldn't cry anymore, not that he didn't want to,he just didn't have the strength. The demon danced around him watching Kuro, but remained oddly quiet now.In all of his long immortal life Kuro had never felt this bad. "It's not fair. Why did it have to happen to him?"He muttered under his breath.Closing his eyes he sighed in defeat knowing you can never change the past. The demon smiled and was about to speak when suddenly, the bell around Kuro's neck moved slightly and a soft jingle was heard.Yet there was no wind.

His red eyes snapped open at this, and a strange feeling he just had. "Not possible,is it?"He said.Kuro though only for a brief moment could of sworn he had just sensed Mahiru's presence. He slowly got to his feet and closed his eyes again. If he truly did just sense his eve, then that meant,Mahiru was still alive somehow. "Mahiru..he's alive."Kuro gasped in disbelief. The demon stared at Kuro and chuckled eerily. "Ah,but for how long? You cannot reach him after all."He stated taunting Kuro.Kuro didn't care what the demon just said. (If he is still alive, then there is hope.I must find him.)He realized.

The little demon stepped back from Kuro in shock as the darkness began to shatter around him,and Kuro vanished back into reality. "What will you do Sloth, when you fail once again?" The demon asked loud enough for Kuro to hear as he left. His red eyes opened slowly to find himself on the concrete ground of what looked to be either a large basement,or some underground storage, like a garage. It was dark but he could still see pretty well.

He stood up quickly, and closed his eyes to try and find Mahiru. His mind focused on everything around him,and he could feel Mahiru's aura.It was somewhere above him.He had to move fast,he had to save Mahiru. He ran quickly to find a way out to get to his eve before anything worse could happen.Something in his mind told him he had to reach Mahiru soon,Or all hope was lost.
