Chapter Nineteen

Dear Diary,

Selene drives me nuts sometimes.

Her love life is a train wreck and my shirts are always soaked when they crash. Brent still gives her his lunch and sits making cow eyes at her through out lunch.

I don't want to get involved or I'd tell him to stop wasting his time and get over her.

Got back home and logged in.

I'm gone a week and there's no message in my inbox.

No comments anywhere.

It's like I didn't exist or they don't care that I do.

Joey came into my room and saw me staring at the screen morose. He didn't say anything, just left and came back with a basket ball. "Let's go shoot some loops" he said and I looked at him and at my arms.

Is this guy for real?! Why does he care if I'm happy or sad? And sports under this late afternoon sun?!!

Oh heck no! I'm aspiring to have an Edward Cullen complexion besides my total lack of coordination got me kicked off the team.

He didn't listen to any of my excuses anyway, shouldn't have bothered but I'll have to admit now that even though the game sucked and we broke one of the basement windows...or rather I did, it was pretty fun.

I'm back in my room now, showered and for the first time in a while...ready to write again.
