Boar Stew

Jade's POV

"No Stevie" I argue as me and Stevie try to decide on something to watch for our weekly movie night. "We are not watching Trolls AGAIN!"
"But pleeeeeeease Teddyyyyyyy" she whines and pouts using my nickname she gave me in our childhood. Knowing I could never say no when she pouted.
I turn away so I'm facing the wall. "Nope. It's my week to pick."
"How about the new Star Wars movie?" Knox chimes in without even turning around from his desk where he is playing World of Warcraft.
I think for a moment but decide against it.
"How about Teeth?" I say excitedly as I start searching for it on Netflix.
Simultaneously Knox NO and Stevie says YES.
"No movies involving people's manhood being ripped from his body." Knox protests as I find the movie and prepare to hit play.
"But Knox pleeeeeeeease?" I whine with no success.
" Nope!" Knox replies with no signs of changing his mind.
Stevie gets off the couch and goes and sits in Knox' s lap and whispers in his ear. Knox gets up closes his laptop picks it up and walks away into their bedroom.
Stevie comes back and flops onto the couch laying her head on my leg. She grabs the remote and turns on the movie with a big smile.
"I'm not even gonna ask what you said to him." I say with a chuckle as I put my feet up on the coffee table.

The movie ends and we both look at each other in intrigue. I stand up and my stomach growls. I look at Stevie and asks if she wants to come with me to get something to eat. She nods and goes to tell Knox we are going out.
"Where are you thinking" I call to her Stevie from the living room "I'm thinking some deer sounds good. "
She comes out with her cross body purse and her running shoes on.
"Hmm I'm thinking some wild boar." She suggests.
"Ohhh that sounds really good." I reply licking my lips.
"Ready?" She asks heading towards the door.
I nod and grab my bag following her out. She closes the door and locks it. We hop in my car and I drive towards the outskirts of town.

We pull into a parking lot and get out. We both stretch and walk over to the edge of the woods.
Stevie transforms into pixie size and her wings appear. I put my hand out for her to land on it and she does.
I take a deep breath in through my nose closing my eyes. I get a whiff of something and take off towards it. Stevie flys along next to me. I spot a wild boar standing by itself and sneak up on it. When I am close enough I leap onto it's back and sink my fangs into it's neck killing it instantly. I pull a plastic sheet out of my bag and wrap the animal in it.
Stevie converts back into her normal sized self and offers to help me carry it back to the car. I accept and we carry it back and put it in my trunk. We arrive back to the house Stevie, Knox, Sebastian and I share.
Knox and Sebastian (who has just arrived home) come to help us unload the animal from my car.
"Wow babe you took this down all by yourself?" Sebastian asks looking impressed "I'm so proud of you." He kisses my forehead.
Stevie and I head into the kitchen and start preparing to cut the meat. We put on our aprons and grab our knives as the men bring the animal in and put it on the counter.

After 2 hours we are finally finish cutting and packaging the meat. Knox starts cooking something for himself Stevie and Sebastian. I grab myself a bowl of raw meat and go sit on the couch and wait for the others.
"Jade do you want me to bring the soy sauce?" Stevie calls to me from the kitchen.
"Yes please and thank you." I reply as I realize I had forgotten it.
The others come and join me and Stevie hands me the soy sauce. I pour some on my meat and start eating it.
"So Knox what did you cook?" I ask looking at it in Sebastian's bowl.
"Boar stew." He replies shoveling a big spoonful into his mouth.
