08 - BLACKPINK

"What do you mean they're not showing up?"

"I don't know, they're just not showing up; I thought I disengaged the jammer but I guess I didn't? God, I don't know."

Rosé groaned running her hands through her hair, her elbows were resting on the desk that she had been sat at for hours.

Jisoo had sent three men to the location of the signal Rosé picked up that only appeared for a maximum of twenty seconds before it disappeared again.

They arrived at 2:16 am; but at 2:27 am all of their trackers signal cut off, just when she thought she got rid of the jammer. It must've been some very high tech if she out of all people couldn't get into the system.

"The last you got a signal from Jennie's phone was at 12?"

Jisoo and Chae were the only ones in the house at the moment, Jennie obviously MIA and Lisa left for a client then called us afterward saying she was contacted and was going to the drop off for the device at 1:37 am. The was time now currently 3:39 am; Jennie had been silent for nearly four hours, leaving Rosé sick to her stomach.

The well-being of Jennie was put in her care but instead she most likely had Jennie's death on her conscience.

"Yeah, her signal stopped a minute after she hung up the call; at some point in the house a jammer of some kind cut it off."

Jisoo stopped her slow pacing back and forth, sighing before walking over to Chaeyoung and sitting on the desk beside her; talking another breath of cold air before she spoke.

"...Lisa should be done by now."

"And?"

Rosé looked up to her friend confusingly, Lisa was the least of her worry's; she knew she'd be safe considering Rosé picked up from the place numerous times before.

"We're gonna need her."

"...For?"

Rosé asked while leaning back in her office chair, waiting for an answer; Jisoo only responded with a familiar look, a look used as a form of 'plan b'. The look used for when they had no choice but to use the last resort plan; Rosés eyes widened slightly as she came to realization.

"No."

Rosé got up from her seat running her hands through her hands in her hair once again before crossing her arms, Jisoo had approached her placing her hands on the girl's shoulders.

"Chae, we have no choice."

"It's dangerous."

"We've been through more dangerous things than this."

Rosé shrugged her friends hands off of her before going back to her desk, looking at the same red letters that practically informed her that her best friend was missing or worst dead.

"And those three men only had one skill with all of them put together which was strength. Put you, Lisa and I together, you get smarts and stealth and strength Once we get Jennie back we'll have even more power."

Rosé didn't respond for a good minute, Jisoo staying silent as she waited for her friends answer; hoping she'd agree.

Rosé spun her chair around, looking back at Jisoo who was leaning on a the far wall, her look was stern but behind it was hopeful, she wanted Jennie back as much as Chae did.

"...Fine."

Jisoo smiled softly, happy they were finally going to do something about the situation their selves instead of sending other people to play it safe.

"I'll call Lisa. We'll head out later in the day, they're most likely expecting company. In the meantime I'll look for information on the building, then rest up a bit, you should too."

She spun back around while Jisoo headed out the door of Rosés office, a smile portrayed on her lips.

"I'll sleep, eat and gear up in the meantime."

Jennie's head was resting in her hands, her back hunched over as she sat on the bed in the corner of the spacious room.

The air seemed thick, every breath she took fed the anxiety that gnawed at her; she was afraid she wouldn't be found in time, but there was still the possibility she could escape while these men did-

'What are they doing?'

Jennie thought to herself. It hadn't clued in that this group of seven were planning something, something that obviously included guns and the canisters the girls were meant to use for their score.

Whatever they were doing it meant they had to bring her or leave her; each choice a door to her possible escape.

If they were to bring her she could easily injure the one closest to her; then the next and she would be able to escape.

Leave her? It was a slim chance to nothing that she would be able to escape the room she found herself in; she had already made an attempt, but she could try harder, and wouldn't have to be so quiet once they left. Her strength was on her side, as of now that is. She hadn't eaten for a while, it was only a matter of time before she'd grow weak.

The clock hung on the wall read 10:43 AM; the windowless room showed no hints of daylight, Jennie feeling as if it were midnight

The boys were clearly all awake by now after resting for a while. Jennie could hear their footsteps pass by the door every now and then; their chatter muffled out by the thick wooden door.

The cocks of guns weren't ignored by the girl, the sound of a something dropping and a boy cursing wasn't ignored either.

They were transporting things from the end of the hallway where the garage entrance was, to the living room.

Jennie was gifted with the 'hearing capabilities of a bat', as Lisa put it during a gas station robbery, which Chaeyoung responded with a smart quip as usual; Jennie smiled softly at the distant memory, they were all young teenagers at the time; merely rookies in the field of rule breaking.

Jennie was interrupted from her thoughts when the door unlocked, one of the strangers entering.

"C'mon, you gotta eat."

Planning on shortening how long the chapters should be, I notice how long they can get. I always have plenty to write but I'm sure nobody wants to read a 30 page chapter. :P
So the chapters will get shorter from now on.

Hope you enjoyed :)
