A/N: I promise this is an Akashi Seijuro x Reader, bare with my ideas, reader-sama XD

"Mou (Best friend's name)-tan, we have to see the match between Shutoku High and Rakuzan! I have to support Shin-tan!," you whined, pleading on your knees to your best friend to come with you to spectate the match. She sighed as she cast away her glance from you. And with that, you know you win.

"Aha! Of course you'll come with me, you have to support Kazu-tan too!," you teased, and that popped a vein on her. You just laughed at your best friend, knowing that she had a liking on the hawk-eyed geek.

"(Y/n)!! You need to learn to shut up at certain times! What if someone heard us? I'm not as open as you!," she complained, and you just nod as she continues her ranting about you.

As you were sipping on your juice, your phone rang suddenly. You picked up your phone and checked the name of the caller, and it's Satsuki. How come did you know Satsuki? Ah, it's because you and Satsuki were best friends way back in Teiko.

Yes, way back in Teiko.

You answered her call.

[... Oh, finally you picked up, (Y/n)! The match between Shutoku High and Rakuzan will start at exactly one hour from now! Where are you? I'll have Dai-chan pick you up...]

[... I'm going with somebody else, and tell Dai-kin to go back...]

[...He can just pick the both of you up... and...]

She suddenly went for a stop, and that made you anxious.

[...Satsu-tan?...]

"(Y/n)? Is there something wrong?," (Best friends's name) asked, making her stop from devouring her cake.

[...He... he's waiting...]

[...Well of course Shin-tan must wait for me, I told him that I'm coming to watch-]

[...Akashi-kun is waiting for you...]

You froze. And there is a long silence between you and Satsuki.

[...I'm hanging up...]

And she hanged up. Now you are hesitant if you are going to watch or not. Your best friend looked at you with worry, she suddenly realized what was going on. It's a match between Rakuzan and Shutoku.

You were  Akashi's only childhood best friend, who stayed with him at all times; times when he's crying, he's in joy, in pain, in victory, and so on. You promised that you will stay with him. Why? Because you love him. You love him for the longest time. Even now. 

But when you saw that scenario between Murasakibara and Akashi, things have changed. You became scared of him. So, you stayed away from him and stick with Midorima. 

But every time you go and watch Midorima practicing his perfect 3-point shots with Takao, you remember Akashi, and the feelings you felt for Akashi is piercing your heart. The only reason you went to Shutoku is to get away from Akashi. 

Physically, you are on Shutoku, but emotionally, you are on Rakuzan. And you felt guilty for leaving Akashi, you even still think if he remembers you or the promise, or no.

"So what are we playing, staring-at-something game? Well can I join and stare at your-"

"Dai-kin!" you cut Aomine off. You already know where he is going to stare.

"Oh it's you, (Best friend's name). Are you coming to go shout Takao's name? You two are in court, not in bed," he teased, and that made your best friend blush.
