Anthony’s POV

“So you told her last night?” Felix walked outside to the cliff where I stood watching the waves hit against the shore.

“No, I can’t tell her until she leaves Ian,” I growled.

“You’ve gotten weak, brother,” Felix sat beside me.

“I honestly do not need your teasing right now Felix,” I glared at him.

“I’m not teasing, Anthony,” He turned and looked at me seriously.

I was shocked into silence by his sincerity.

“Every day you are not with your mate you get a little bit weaker,” He breathed and looked back out to the water. “It’s like me without blood. Your mate . . . she’s your life source in a way.”

“How do you know about all of this?” I asked confused.

“Like I’ve said. I am a vampire . . . I’m not stupid,” He smirked.

I looked at him seriously and he sighed.

“I asked mom what was wrong with you.” He admitted.

“Nothing is wrong with me, Felix. I will be fine. I just . . .”

“You just need your mate,” He growled.

“What’s with your attitude,” I smirked elbowing him.

“I don’t give a shit who this bitch is. She’s hurting my brother . . . she’s lower than dirt to me,” He looked to me meeting my eyes.

“This bitch is my mate,” I growled threateningly.

“Anthony, calm down. I am only being the brother I’ve always been,” He sighed.

“Felix, I’m sorry, but I can’t help it. It is an instinctive reaction. You were threatening her . . . in my wolf’s eyes anyway,” I breathed and sat back.

“Well if you want to know the effect of a rejecting mate as Uncle Ro. At least that’s what mom told me,” He sighed and then jumped over the cliff.

I sighed and stood.

“Time to find Uncle Ro,” I sighed and walked back to the house.

I searched all over the house until I finally found him in the gym.
