Strangers | Takada Kenta

CHAPTER 01

It was a cold saturday morning and I wanted to get some nice warm coffee for myself.

After buying a nice cup of coffee I took a seat near the window , but it did'nt take long for me to get bored so I decided to leave the cafe and go to the park.

I did'nt finish,my coffee though,so I look for a vacant seat , where I can take a rest .But what surprise me was the park, it was too crowded and it was impossible for me to find a vacant seat for myself .

I was close on giving up , but then I saw a vacant seat just near a tree.I quickly sat on the bench and sighed "finally~" , I,said as I closed my eyes in relief.

"Tired?" Someone spoke up, I quickly turned my head towards the owner of the of the voice and surprisingly it came from the boy sitting beside me .That's weird I did'nt even remember a boy,sitting here earlier.

"Excuse me , but were you sitting here before I did?"I asked the stranger beside me.

Yes,I just sat here , not long until you did,too." he replied.

"I-I did'nt mean too, I'll leave now.No it's okay , you can sit , and youdon't have to apologize I'm not the owner of this bench you know?"

I don't know what to say so I just thanked him and sat beside him quietly .

A few minutes later I found myself stealing glances at the boy while I drink my coffee.He was wearing a pair of brown leather shoes ,black denim pants,a white plane T-shirt,and red jacket.

"Uhmmm...excuse me but are you done staring?"he said which cause me to avert my gaze from him , I felt my cheeks heat up in an instant.Suddenly I heard him laughing which made me turn my head to his direction and gave him a confused look, "what?" I asked.

"Nothing I just find it cute."he said while laughing.

After hearing him say that I froze on my seat ,and I felt a little embarassed for what I did.

A few seconds later,he stopped laughing and
Turned to face me,  "No need  to  be embarassed,it's okay , besides you look cute earlier."he smiled"By the way I'm Kenta"he said as he extended his hand,"Chae Hee."I said and smiled.

Kenta and I spent the rest of the day at the park , just talking , laughing and sharing some stories with each other.

I felt the atmosphere getting a bit serious , when we were talking about our problems.    Kenta was the one who did all the talking and I just paid attention to everything he said.
He also told me that he was Japanese but I was'nt really shoked ,since I knew that he was foreign , before he even told me. I guess it was just an instinct.

After a long talk with Kenta I decided to go home,since it was getting late and the park will close soon."Well I guess I should go home now , it's late and I still have to cook dinner."

"Well it was nice spending the day with you and ...I ...ahh...hope to see you again ."he said as he bowed infront of me .I quickly replied with a smile and gave him a short bow before saying goodbye.

I was about to walk when he suddenly called my name, and asked me if it was okay if he walk me home instead.
"Sure"I said with a smile and the next thing I know , we were walking side by side on the streets.

When we reached my house , I thanked Kenta for walking me home and I even invited him to stay for awhile but he just smiled and told me it's okay and said goodbye before walking away .

I don't know why, but somehow I knew I could trust him.
