Chapter 1: Arriving at the Avengers Tower

Oc's pov:
Here I am. A 'normal' Arab Muslim girl walking in the streets of New York. I was just trying to get to the Avengers tower. Why? Well, let's just say that I'm too excited to be part of the coolest superhero team ever! No offense to the other heroes around the world of course. ^_^" I always loved the Avengers. I even dreamt of meeting them. Well, today was my lucky day! Or...maybe not? I'm lost actually. "Oh, Allah! Please help me find it!", I shouted as I got really tired of asking every single person about directions. And each one of them answer me with the same goddamn answer! "Are you stupid? It's way too obvious." Well, sorry for being a Palestinian who doesn't know the way in this huge city! Allah be with me. I really need to get to the Avengers. I just know that they can help me after I lost my family. I think I did the right thing. I mean, my uncles refused to keep me with them just because of my super powers, so I have no other place to go.

Anyway, I kept walking until I saw a group of villains terrorizing people. 'Time for Justice Bow to appear!', I thought then ran to an alley, took off my glasses and pressed on the button on my bracelet then turned to my hero costume and summoned my bow.

I scanned the group with my eyes and recognized the villains: Diamondback, Tigershark, King Cobra, Whiplash, Baron Zemo, Graviton, Green Goblin, Abomination, Crimson Dynamo, MODOK, Diablo and Whirlwind. "Where are the Avengers? Oh well. Looks like I'll have to handle things by myself here.", I said to myself then took a deep breath, "Ya Allah!", I ran out of the alley and started shooting my arrows at the villains.

"What the hell?! Who's shooting these arrows?!", Diamondback shouted and the others looked around. "There!", Baron Zemo said and pointed at me. I prepared my arrow and aimed at them. The villains laughed at me and Graviton walked forward to push me away with his gravity powers. "Binding Arrow!", I shouted and shot it at him. The arrow turned into a rope and tied him up causing him to fall on the ground. The bastards frowned and attacked me all at once. I fought back with all my strength. However, I couldn't last long as Abomination gave me a strong punch sending me flying into a building and dropping on the ground.

I groaned in pain and tried to get up but I couldn't. I closed my eyes and waited for a finishing attack to strike me. "Cane Blast!", a voice shouted and an energy beam was shot at the villains. I looked up weakly and saw...the Avengers! They're here! I could only watch as my favorite heroes were fighting the villains: Cap fought with Whirlwind, Wasp was shooting her Wasp Sting at Tigershark, Hulk was wrestling with Abomination, Spiderman attacked Green Goblin, Thor was fighting Whiplash, Hawkeye kept Diablo busy shooting arroes at him, Black Widow fought off Diamondback, Iron Man was shooting at MODOK with...Loki helping him? When did he join them? Anyway, it was only Baron Zemo left. He walked towards me and I backed away from him despite the pain I felt and the cracking sound of my rib being broken. However, he couldn't reach me as a man with a metal arm jumped in front of him and punched him away. "I didn't thank you for 'killing' me, Baron Zemo!", he said then gave the villain a lot of punches and kicks. The last thing I saw was Loki landing in front of me and then nothing. But, I could feel a soothing pulses of energy running through my body. After that, I felt nothing.

Hours later, I could hear voices speaking but couldn't tell what they were saying. I opened my eyes slowly but my vision was blurry so I can tell that I am back in my normal mode. I looked around for my glasses and found them then put it on my eyes. I am really speechless right now! The Avengers were right in front of me! EEEEEEEEK!!! :DDDDDD

"Hey, Steve. She's up and she's staring at us.", the man with metal arm said and everyone looked at me. I was happy and nervous at the same time! They're looking at me! Captain America walked to me and asked if I was okay. "I'm totally fine, Cap! I just can't believe I got to finally meet you guys!", I shouted happily and they laughed a little at my reaction. I smiled a bit then said: "So, what happened? The last thing I remember was seeing you guys fighting those jerks."

"Well, we won of course! We all have beaten the hell out of them. However, you seemed to be really injured. So we decided to take you in. Btw, were you the one who tied Graviton?", Tony Stark, a.k.a Iron Man, said and I just looked at him for a brief second before looking down with my face redder than a tomato. "Y-Yes, Mr Stark sir.", I said while fondling with my fingers nervously. "Then you are a hero like us. -3-", Hulk said. Thor just smiled at me and said: "Aye. And you were lucky my brother healed you."

"No autographs, please. -3-", the trickster said and looked at me with a smile. I chuckled at his comment and thanked him then looked at the man with metal arm, "Btw, who is this guy?", I said pointing at the brunette man and Cap answered: "Why this is my best friend Bucky Barnes. He had a rough time to get over his past mistakes but he managed in the end."

I nodded and didn't believe that I was finally here. "Now it's my turn to ask, who are you?", Bucky asked me with a smirk on his face. I smirked back at him and stood up, "My name is Israa Mustafa. I am a hero from Palestine. My hero name is Justice Bow. It's an honor to meet you all.", I answered with a smile.

Thor: Merrily met, Israa.

Loki: Nice to meet you too.

Wasp: I like your name. :3

Israa: Thanks, Wasp.

Bucky: And Justice Bow really fits you.

Captain America: *nods* Right you are, Bucky.

Hulk: Yup. -3-

I chuckled a little then looked at Tony. He didn't say anything. "Mr Stark..." "Tony.", he interrupted me saying his name. I blinked a bit then he sighed and continued: "We are teammates now so it's okay to call me Tony. Now, excuse me. I wanna go to my lab. JARVIS, prepare a room for Israa."

"Already done, master Stark. It's the room next to yours.", the A.I said and Tony nodded then left. I could sense sadness coming from him. I wonder why. "He's doing it again.", Wasp said with a sigh. "Yeah. He's been like that ever since Pepper dumped him.", Cap said. "Welp, I don't blame him. I mean I would feel the same if my girlfriend dumped me.", Loki said and I was shocked. What? His girlfriend dumped him? Pepper dumped him?! "Why?", I asked with a shaky voice. They all looked at me with concern and Bucky said: "We don't know. They just broke up."

Oh dear. Poor Tony. "Anyway, let me show you to your room.", Cap said and I nodded then followed him to my new room. I walked in and thanked him then he left. I looked into the closet and saw lots of beautiful clothes. "Well, miss Israa. Since you are a Muslim girl, I prepared a lot of Islamic clothes for you.", JARVIS said and I smiled. "Thanks JARVIS.", I said then changed into pj's and threw myself in my bed. I can't believe myself. I am an Avenger now. But still... 'I wonder why did Pepper break up with Tony. They seemed to be happy together from what I saw on Tv.', I thought then closed my eyes and fell in a deep sleep.
