You and Harry have been best friends since you can remember. You've always have had a crush on him but you didn't want to ruin your friendship, so you didn't say anything. One Direction were currently touring and wanted you to come along with them to some of their shows. Tonight they were doing a performance for an awards show, so you had to dress up smart.

You were currently getting ready for the show and we're stuck on what to wear. You tried on a black maxi dress which had sparkles running through it.

'Perfect' You think to yourself, smiling. You put on some black heels to match it and look at the time, 6:34pm. You quickly grab your clutch bag and phone and head downstairs. The boys were already waiting in the car, so it was just you and Harry. He heard you coming down the stairs and looked up. His mouth parted slightly and his eyes opened wider than usual. You reached the last step and smiled at him.

'Y-you look so beautiful' he says, smiling. You giggle and kiss his cheek.

'Thank you, Harry. You don't look to bad yourself' you say, winking at him playfully. He chuckles and puts his arm around your waist, causing butterflies to form in your stomach. You both head out the door to the car and get in.

'Took you long enough! You look amazing Y/N' Louis says, resting his hand on your knee. You smile and kiss his cheek, thanking him. The rest of the boys comment on how beautiful you look and you thanked them also. You look over at Harry to see him looking intently and where Louis' hand was. You furrow your eyebrows and look away.

You all finally made it and sat down at your reserved table. You were sat in between Harry and Louis. You look over at Harry to find him already looking at you. You shift in your seat a bit and look down.

'What's wrong with him?' You ask yourself.

'Boys, you have 10 minutes until you have to be on stage' a man says. The boys nod and resume talking to one another. You look up at Harry to ask him what's wrong but he wasn't there. You look around the room and you finally see him...talking to Kendall Jenner.

'Oh' You say, quietly. You felt your heart drop as you watched him laughing with her. He looked over at you, making you quickly divert your gaze and return back to what you were doing. You sit back in your chair and sigh, closing your eyes.

'Are you okay, love?' Louis asks, rubbing your shoulder. You look up at him and let out a frustrated sigh.

'Honestly...no' you say, putting your head in your hands. He furrows his eyebrows and looks to where you were just looking and sees Harry and Kendall. He rolls his eyes and moves closer to you.

'Y/N. He's only talking to her to try and make you jealous, and it's clearly working. Please don't let it get to you, we're gonna have a good night. I promise! I can't wait for you to hear our new song we're performing!' he says, excitedly, making you giggle. You look up at him and sit up.

'What's it called?' You ask. He smiles and chuckles.

'It's called, 'half a heart'. Harry wrote most of it.' He said, smirking. You smile.

'He did? That's so sweet' you say.

'Yep! And I have a strong feeling it's about you. The lyrics fit perfectly!' He exclaims. Just as you were about to say something the same man from earlier interrupted you.

'Boys! You gotta get on now!' He says quickly. The boys got up from their seats quickly and headed over to the stage. The boys all line up together and the music starts playing. Liam starts singing.

Those last lyrics Harry had said, made you melt. He looked straight into your eyes when he said them. They all blew kisses and ran off the stage. You quickly run through to the backstage where they ran off to, to find Harry. You turn around and look around the room. You hear footsteps coming from behind you. You turn around and see Harry. You take a deep breath.

'Harry' you say. He doesn't say anything. He just runs over to you and hugs you, lifting you up. He puts you down and looks into your eyes.

'Kitten, I love you. With all of my heart. I never wanted to ruin our friendship, so I didn't tell you. Writing that song, made me realise how much I do love you. I need you. I truly am half a heart without you, Y/N.' You smile and hug him tight.

'I love you too, Harry' you say. He squeezes you even tighter and smiles.

'Please be my girlfriend?' He asks, smirking. You smile and nod your head.

'Of course I will, Harry' you say. He smiles and picks you up, spinning you around.
