“Could you tell me as to how you know they are not my parents?” I said stumbling over to my bed due to my dizziness.Kendric looked at me and said “I'm sorry for this” waving his hand over my face I gently drifted into a deep sleep going into a horrific dream.
When I came to I seemed to be in a tent or hut of some sort. As I lifted my throbbing head a little girl probably no younger than 12 walked in and looked at me with wide eyes. The girl just simply walked backwards out the door. I meant to put my head down gently but ended up slamming my head down instead. This making my head hurt even worse. A few moments passed by as I lay there looking at the ceiling, Kendric walked in and sat in the chair next to the bed I was laying in.
“ What did you do to me?” I said such a low whisper I wondered if I even said anything at all.
“ All I did is what I had to,” he replied with a frown “ even if you felt you could trust me you wouldn't have ever willingly came with us. So I simply put a sleeping spell over you, just long enough to get here to the village.” I couldn’t help but just glare at him because literally all the shit he just feed me went in one ear and out of the other.
“ A spell, you're kidding me right?” I managed to get out while I let out a groan as i sit up on the bed and face him.
“ No, I assure you I'm not kidding with you.Everyone here knows the basic spells such as: sleeping spells, locating spells, defendant spells, etc. But most of all most people here have powers of their own.” He said giving me a look as if I was one of the people he was talking about.
“Wait! Your meaning to tell me a bunch of wizards or whatever you call them, came to my house and brought me to some place probably in the middle of nowhere. And then tell me I have powers. No I don’t believe you, I want you to take me home. Now!” I said jumping off the bed.
Areia and Lavric rushed into the hut to see what I was shouting about. Kendric gave them a gesture that told them to leave us alone, that everything was okay. I looked at him with frustration. Why was he just sitting there as if he has dealt with this kind of reaction before? Why was he telling me all these lies? Or is he really telling me the truth?
