Scream {LRH}

Day 15

Luke's POV:

As I sit in my usual place at the café I sigh taping my fingers against the table checking my watch for the forth time

"Where the hell is she?" then when I just about lost my last straw of patience she enters the small building with a great big smile

"Luke!" she quickly walks over to me with nothing but great energy flowing from her personality

"I was so worried that you wouldn't want to hangout today especially since we weren't able to the other day." I give her a small smile and get up pulling out her chair

"Oh come on why wouldn't I want to hangout with you?" she gives me a small shrug but continues to smile

"Soooo I got great news" I look at her waiting for her continue and she grabs my hands from across the table

"I might of maybe met someone!!" my breath catches in my throat as the last word leaves her lips and I'm frozen in place as she continues to ramble on about this guy she met

"Wait so is this why we couldn't hangout the other day is because you had a date with some guy you met online?" she blushes slightly and nods

"Yes and I'm so sorry I didn't tell you the truth. I just wasn't sure how you'd react." she gives me a small shy smile and tucks her hair behind her ear as she grabs my hand once again

"I know we just met but I feel that you're already someone I can tell everything to and count you as a close friend, that's why I wanted to tell you now" I look down to the floor trying to put all the pieces together and as I do I feel a giant wave of anger consume me

"Look Brooke this is great news and all but I got to go. I'll talk to you later." with that I get up and storm out of the café not even bothering to look back.

That's when he realizes that he can't lose her. Not now. Not ever.
