I made my way out the door. I was about to get in my car when I here "Hey, Veronica!". I realize the sweet voice of my new boyfriend calling my name. I look in his direction and see he was about to drive off, too. He offers me a ride and, of course, I say yes. We get to school and I hop out of his green Lambo. We walk in to the school holding hands and everyone is shocked there 'Golden Boy' and Star Football Player is dating the new girl. As we were about to part to go our separate ways, he leans in in front of the whole school and before I knew it, we were kissing. After I got to class everyone was talking. Right as I sit down everybody's phones go off. Everyone goes dead silent and Anaya and Jazmine slowly turn their heads at me."What?", I ask."YOU KISSED DARIUS???!!!". "So what if I did?", I said slowly with a smirk in my face."Holy cow! How could you kiss him and not tell us?!", Anaya asks. The smirk on my face widens into a huge smile. At lunch: Darius sits at our table again along with Cyrus, Marcus, and Lucas, but this time, Darius sits beside me. He invites me on a surprise date tonight, and how could I say no to those beautiful baby blue eyes. After school: I choose the perfect outfit for our date:

After all, he does call me his shining jewel. We arrive at the date spot and I still have my blindfold on."Take a guess.", Darius says soothingly. I open my eyes..."OMG! Are we seriously looking at the back of the Hollywood sign?!". "You guessed correctly.", Darius says in a calming tone. This is a night I know I will never forget.
