i crave another's touch all through the night
just to be held, kissed, loved, with all their
might
the loneliness creeps up on me
i try to push it away, you see
it almost never works because my heart
craves
just to be held, kissed, loved by one who saves
instead i lay here, clinging to my covers
only wishing for lovers
they tell me, "you're just too young!"
to be held, kissed, loved; it stung
time moves painfully slow
when i'm too young to be woed
but that could never stop my dreaming
just to be held, kissed, loved by someone
beaming
so forever i will imagine you and me
just being held, kissed, loved, and completely
carefree
