As I get to Damion and I's spot I see that he's already standing there.
He has a sad look on his face.
It looks like he's been waiting there for hours. I'm not that late am I?

"Hey, Dami, everything ok?" I ask

He doesn't say anything for a few seconds.

"I'm sorry" that's all he says in the most sad depressing voice, and then walks away.

"Damion!" I run after him.

He stops at a bridge.

"Damion, what are you sorry about" I'm really confused at what's happening.

" I told them, and I'm sorry" he runs so fast I don't even try to chase him again.

I am really confused. Why would he ask me here if he's just gonna run away?
I stand there stunned.
Who did he tell, and what did he tell them?
I start to walk back home, wondering what he could've done to get so sad.

I get to my steps I carefully open the door.
"Arianna Anne Dawson!" Oh no,
I look and see Finn standing there.

"Where did you go?! You know your not allowed to leave this house except for school!" He yells.

"I was just-"  I begin

"No, you do not have an excuse"

He yanks me by the ear and throws me onto the ground.
Everything goes blank.
The next thing I know, I'm still on the ground aching everywhere. Finn leaves the room.
I get up, fighting through the pain.
I climb up the stairs and lay on my bed. Tears roll down my face.
I've somehow lost my only friend, and got in trouble for trying to meet him.
I lie there until I fall asleep.

The next morning I get up, grab my stuff and quickly leave the house. I wake up early in the morning everyday just so I don't have to see Finn and Remi.
I walk to school thinking about last night.
Why would he ask me to meet him just to run away from me?
Who am I gonna hang out with.
I'm to caught up in my thoughts to acknowledge the girl walking in front of me, we bump into eachother  and both fall to the ground.

"Oh I'm so sorry" I apologize

" it's ok" she forgives

" Actually I'm really sorry, I shoulda watched where i was going" I guess I always have to apologize so much that it's a habit.

"It's ok, really, you didn't mean to" she says in the most politest voice I've ever heard.

"Oh"' I realize how apologetic I'm being and quickly walk away.

I get to school. As I walk through the school doors to see Damion. He's not standing by the pillar waiting for me like he usually does.
He's with the 'popular kids' which is surprising because he always talks bad about them.
I walk up to him.

" hey Dami, can we talk" I ask

"I dunno can, Dami talk?" One of the jocks Brandon blurts out.

"Can he talk to a girl who isn't even loved by her own parents?"  They all laugh.

"What?" So that's what he told them.

I look at Damion

"What, you gonna beat him like momma does" another named Kyle says.

They continue to laugh

I give Damion the 'what the fuck dude?!' Look and then walk away.

I head into the library to get a history book we're supposed to bring in today.
As I'm looking. Around I see the girl I bumped into again. She was heading my way.

"Hey, weren't you the girl I bumped into on the streets this morning?" She says.

"Pretty sure" I say trying to get out of the conversation.

It starts getting awkward, so I begin to walk away, when she says,
"My names Cleo by the way" I was about to say something, but instead I just walk away.

The next few periods fly by.

I get to gym.

I see Cleo standing there in the line we're supposed to be in.
I walk up and end up being partners with Cleo since she was the last one left.

We start to kick the ball back and forth,
"Soo" she says

"I didn't get your name."

"My name is Ari" I say

"Cool, what's your full name, Aria?" She guesses

"No, my full names, Arianna" I correct her

"Woah, that's like the prettiest name ever" she compliments

"Thanks"

"Why haven't I seen you around before?"

" I'm new, I just came here today" she says

"Isn't it funny that we accidentally met eachother twice before this and just happen to be partners" she starts

"It's like we were meant to be"

Something about Cleo just makes me happy. I know I'm gonna like her.
