Perfect strangers

Chapter 2

We run as fast as we could. all the family members were yelling.

"The bride is running", "Catch them. They should not leave the gate".

I heard Rohan saying "Run. Run as fast as you could and as far as you could."

Diya is laughing on every word he is uttering.

We ran fast and far as we could. Finally we reached to place were we could hide for some time so the situation of the wedding will calm down.

We are standing closely to each other. The place we are is very dark but not that dark that we could not see each other.

I finally took off my ghunghat. He looked at me. I looked at him.

He has black wavy hair that come slightly on his deep light brown eyes. His hand is tightly griped to my waist and has a tight grip of my right hand.  he has a strength in his arm.

"Who are you." He yelled.

"I am the woman you wanted to 'not betray you'". I told sarcastically with rolling my eyes.

He pulled me towards him and has a tight grip on my arms. His grip is hurting me. "Leave me. You are hurting me." I said.

He did not loosened his grip, instead he made it tighter and said "WHO ARE YOU AND WHERE IS ANKITA."

I was trying to get out of his grip but he was too strong for me, but I kept on trying.

"I don't know any girl name Ankita, I am sorry" I told him with a calm tone so he could let me go. "Pleases let me got you are hurting me."

He looked at me for couple of seconds which felt like forever, and loosened the grip.

I am pressing my arm so my arm muscle would feel like normal again. I could feel the hotness in my arm.

I looked at him "I am sorry" he said looking at the floor.

I could see on his face that he is really sorry for what he did. He threw himself on the ground and sat there.

"Are you okay?" I ask him.

He is mumbling something. I could just figure out some of it.

"Where she is", "Is she even remembering me", "I should have not come here in the first place." He was whispering thing like that which made me curious that he really loved this girl name Ankita.

I sat down next to him and kept my arm on his shoulder. "Everything will be fine. You will find her don't worry" I said in a sad tone. "-But if you don't-don't worry there are many other girls out their waiting for you" said him with a exciting tone.

He looked at me a crazy look.

I usually get those kind of looks form people. They think I am crazy, childish and smiling all the time.

I don't get what is wrong in smiling all the time. I always encourage people to smile all the time.

As I came out of my own thoughts, I realized this stranger's head is on my shoulder and he is crying. I have never seen a man crying like a baby, which I found really cute.

"Awwwwwwwwwwwwww--" I said.

He looked at me. " There is nothing 'awwww' in this situation. Because of you my entire life is messed up. I don't even know where the love of my life is and I am stuck in this area with a woman I don't even know and that is ALLL CRAZYYYYY!!!"

"First of all, I didn't do the 'awwww' how you just did it ok" I snapped. He cleaned his tears of by now.

"Second of all, I am Mahi, and you are.....?"

"Does it really matter after all this?"

"Yes than we will know each other and wont act like strangers"

" Jay "

"Nice meeting you, Jay"

"I don't see anything nice in this situation"

I nodded my head and smiled.

Jay got up to see if my family members are still out there.

"Lets go. There is no one here."

We walked looking all around us. as we were walking like we did something bad, I sad "so where are we going..."

"I am leaving you back from where you took my hand and ran off-"

"I am not going back there ok" I snapped.

"You can't come with me. I don't even know you and I am going to find where Ankita is.

"I don't even want to come with you"

"Then go where you want to go"

"Bye nice meeting you and thank you for running away with me"

"Bye"

We walked in different directions.
