After what felt like forever, maths ended, we learned something new about it and now, we we're waiting for our next teacher to arrive.

So far, everything went smoothly. Nothing weird or embarrassing happen to me so far. Class went on as usual and I hope it stays that way.

*sigh*

I stare at the window beside me with some crazy thoughts in my head. What's going to happen to me? Will everything be okay? Will I still be the same Laura since forever? Or will I change? Will I meet someone who'll cha-

"Yo Ash!" Said Jace while standing beside his table. Welp, thank you Jace for snapping me out of my crazy sad thoughts. Wait, since when did he passed by my table?

Ugh, Laura, u seriously need to focus more to your surroundings. What if one day, something bad happens to you? What if you get kidnapped by a crazy drug dealer and take out all of your organs to sell overseas?

I wonder if mother and father would care about me if that really happened? Would they even cry on my grave? Hhmm..

"Sup bro! " said Asher. Damn, even his deep voice sounds sexy. W-wait, why am I still thinking about him? Ugh, this is why guys like him should not exist in the real world.

"You wanna hang out with me and my buddy Freddy, during lunch? " asked Jace in a cool tone with his arm around Freddy's shoulder.

Before Asher answers them, he literally had to think to agree or disagree. Wow, this guy is really different. Probably not my type in any ways. Usually, most guys wanted to sit with them just to look cool or so they can sit with the cheerleaders.

After a few seconds of thinking, Asher agreed to hangout with them during lunch hours. I don't know but for some reason, he seems to have that chill and popular type of aura. Maybe back in his previous school, he's also as popular as them.

I'm kinda curious about something tho. Why did he transfer here during senior year? Like seriously, why? With that thought going through my mind, Asher and Jace kept on talking with each other.

"I'm Jace Edward. You can call me Jace. This is my buddy, Freddy Frankie. " Jace said with a genuine smile to him while giving a high five to him. Even Freddy gives a high five to Asher. I'm guessing they're going to be best friends.

After a while of them talking with each other and me eavesdropping on their conversation, suddenly some girl came in and barge in their smooth conversation.

Sasha Sivertson.

" Heyyy Asher! My name is Sasha Sivertson. I'm one of your family's loyal company. The Sivertson Company." said Sasha in a most flirtatious way while giving him the most beautiful sexy face ever.

Nahh I'm just kidding. For me, she's just pretty on the outside but not in the inside. Sasha is like the typical mean girl with her group of mean girls. Yupp.

As Sasha introduce herself to Asher, one of his eyebrow lifted up while greeting her back in a confuse way. What is this? Is this a sign where he'll be the first guy to dislike her? Is my dream coming true?

" She's also our school's cheerleading captain! " Said one of her bestie. Rachael Arthur while giving her innocent smile.

To be honest, I don't really hate Rachael. Why? Well its because she's basically the naive one in their popular group. She's like, the dumb one. I'm sorry Rachael for saying stuff like this to you. But she's literally dumb. How is she even popular?!

"Oh ok. " said Asher unaffected by Sasha's traits. Omg like seriously, he's like the first guy I know in this school who doesn't fell for Sasha's trap. I'm starting to like this guy already. As in like, like his traits? Not as in like, like him? Get it? No? Okayyyy moving on then.

After Asher replied Sasha in a quite cold way, she flinched a little, not too obvious and it seems like there's hurt in her eyes?

Are my eyes deceiving me now? Lord, could this be true or is this just a dream? Did I just saw hurt in Sasha's eyes?

"Yo Sasha! You wanna have lunch with us? " asked Jace. Damn, bad move Jace.

Somehow, Asher's deep blue ocean eyes are telling me that he's terrified with the thought of having lunch with the girls. Does he not like girls? Or maybe even better, does he not like Sasha already? Did he see past through her fake attitude? Or is he just gay?

I've always hated Sasha. Last year, she embarrassed me in front of my classmates about me wearing a cap to school. Like, what's wrong with wearing a cap to school? I was just trying something new.

Since then, I learn my lesson to not wear cap to school or else Sasha would embarrassed me again. Maybe not in front of my classmate but, in front of the whole school! That would be my worst nightmare!

*sighs*

Now I'm just talking by myself in my mind. Sometimes, I wish I'm braver, more outgoing and not a freaking scardy ca-

"Laura! "

"Mwo? " huh? I spaced out again didn't I?

"Laura! What are you waiting for, let's go to the cafeteria before all the table are taken! " Said Perrie.

"Whaaaaat? English is over? Since when did english started? " I asked Perrie who looks at me with that 'you better stop daydreaming or else I'll slit your throat' look.

"English is after lunch! Come on let's go! " she said while pulling me out of the class. Damn, have I really been spacing out too long?

While we were on our way to the cafeteria, we saw Eva riding her skateboard as fast as she could so she won't get caught by the school prefect, Isaiah Wong.

When she saw us, she waved at us with a smile. And we waved at her back with a curious face as to why she's in trouble again. Welp, typical Eva. Always getting into trouble. Even the first day of school. I guess we'll be seeing her later.

After a few minutes getting dragged by Perrie to the cafeteria, we finally arrived. We tried to search for a table but there was none, except, maybe we could sit with them Sean, Eric and Shania?

Well, what choice do we have?
