Iced Coffee

I shook the guy's hand.

"I'm Noah." I said sternly

"I'm Michael...

good to meet you..." he added after an awkward silence

"yea." I agreed even though I didn't really agree... why am I getting jealous? I've only known this girl for a few... Oh my god. I know who she is, our families always used to eat dinner together every Friday, they probably still do... I wouldn't know. I'm just going to stay silent for now... Hopefully she doesn't remember me.

"What would you like to eat and drink Noah?" I turned to look at Aurora

I was looking at the menu and the only thing that caught my eye was too much much to ask for so I just looked down at my worn up shoes.

"An iced coffee and a bread would be nice." I looked up and smiled weakly.

"Stop, tell me what you really want to eat." She protested

"Can I have two chicken salads and the iced coffee? I asked

"Coming right up! " She winked

Michael then gave her a kiss on her forehead and left.

Aurora brought the iced coffee to me and sat at a table, she motioned for me to sit next to her so I did.

"Noah, I seriously do not want to freak you out when I say this and I know this probably is not the best place to do this... but, I know who you are... Just hear me out please. I know your first name isn't really Noah, its Adam... Adam Levine to be exact. I'm not really a big fan so don't worry. I'm here because your family is really worried about you... I'm not sure if you remember me now but I'm..."

"Aurora Miller, Our families used to eat together every Friday. You used to have a big crush on me, if I remember correctly your sister did too. You guys sold my first dog, buster, to my dad... that's how our families started talking and I was kinda the reason for that scar right there." I said as I traced my finger along the long blemish on her arm.

"I cant believe you remember." she smiled
